oh well done sue :D i hope the ramp isnt too expensive but will definately be worth it for you to be in and out of the house yourself :D

cwta thanks for keeping us in touch with bz's plans ;) i hope your legs arent as bad tonight :( it drives me mad when mine are like that, had a conversation a few nights ago with dh about restless legs and the fact it felt like things were crawling inside them constantly and i couldnt sleep and he just couldnt understand that standing up for a few minutes [like with cramp] wasnt going to cure it

hi s/e :o:o i havent been to the gp, its been too hard to think about this week with the kids off, its bad enough finding energy for them as well as worrying about a gp appointment but i actually said earlier to dh that i was ringing monday morning :) i need to stop looking up symptoms on the net though as all that does is worry me :o akylosing spondylitis [sp??] was mentioned also a few years back and id never thought about that again until someone mentioned it on here? maybe i should write myself a huge list and just say here read this lol :rotfl:

you have just scared me with the talk of amphibians as we havent covered dh's koi pond with the net yet and those amorous little froggies arent nice to his precious koi :p we better get out there tomorrow i think. Its been lovely weather though and makes me feel so much better to see sun :D

we went out this morning to buy algae wafers and i treated myself to a siamese fighter hehe , i cant resist buying new fish when i go for food lol but for the rest of the day i have hardly done a thing :D im taking my sister to john lewis tomorrow to order her pram and i will need all my energy for the stress driving into town :o im such a wuss

i hope everyone is well and has had some sunshine where ever you are :D

As long as you go soon, I'll hold off nagging for a bit longer yet, but I won't forget forever. ;)

I hear amorous amphibians aren't too choosy about what they attempt to mate with. My neighbours have a pond, and most of those (all of them probably) have found their way into my garden through a tiny gap in the fence, but they did say that more than once they've had frogs (or toads, I think they've got both) hanging on to the goldfish instead of each other. Actually, I was rather pleased to find out how they were getting into my garden - they put a new fence up last year, and I had a couple in my garden and I was a bit worried about them not being able to get back to their normal place of habitation. Now I've seen so many of them (apparantly using my garden as an overflow mating place) I'm less concerned about them coming to grief of suffering from a lack of deep enough water when needed. Actually, I had one (who didn't seem to have found a mate) who'd taken up residence in my watering can yesterday. Having got in through the hole on top it was unable to find its way out again and was trying to clamber up the spout. Without much success. Anyway T/S tipped the can on its side while I was out yesterday and it obviously found somewhere else to reside.

fortunately, had just enough dryish sunny weather recently to be able to get out and prune the honeysuckle. Still far too wet underfoot to consider cutting the grass though. And too many amphibians copulating in the undergrowth - had a nasty accident with one last year and don't want to repeat the experience.

    thank you :p *pheew*

our froggies hold the koi down whilst doing what froggies do and they can actually drown them apparently as they cover the gills :( theres lots of ponds locally though as we all have very big gardens and we take the net off once activities have ceased so that they can swin again ;) we have a waterfall too and they paddle about in there

lawn mowers and frogs arent a good combination

i cant wait to get out there properly and have a good tidy round, all i seem to have done for months is clear up after kipper ;) i love to be able to sit out in a nice garden in summer [under shade mind you  ]

  • Sharon Will Be Home Tomorrowxxxxxx
  • That's brilliant news, seaside! Thanks for letting us know. We'll all be sitting here with bated breath waiting for Sharon to join us. Having said that, I'm sure we'd all rather that she spent time with her familly and regained some strength rather than feel that she has to post here.

    I know what I mean. :)

I very much hope you do stay, now that you've found us. As far as I can tell on this thread, having fibro is optional. ;)
