Ooh, it's the night of wall climbing tonightjust passing through.... Nothing to see....0
-
morning all,
well done on the greenhouse cwta, what are you going to grow in it?0 -
oh dear i think i am going to have a bad day.
DS has just come crashing through my bedroom door, asking can i drive him to school... yup you've guessed it he got up late (major lecture later about staying up watching tv in his room me thinks)
So i remind him i don't have the car my OH has it at his (too painful to drive so he might as well get some use out of it)
I promise to ring the school he is in a blind panic as they are off to the zoo doing some video project so technically as far as he can see is a day off school, i tell him to take his mobile and i will ring him after i have spoken to the school, and told him to say he was helping me...
ring school they were lovely, rings DS everything sorted.... look at the time oh my it the middle of the night for me.
The dog is with oh too, that was fun he took him home with him realising he had the dog cage in his house, 'no he will be ok' he says, so i panic until i get a text to say the dog grumbled a bit then led down and settled on the back seat (this is super puke dog) since being a pup he is sick on car journeys, we have tried all the tricks in the book to help him, and yet he goes home with oh and (ok he had an empty stomach) he is perfectly fine... dogs!!!
I got DS to vacumn the landing last night as it was so full of my hair, (cream ish carpet) and i did the livingroom floor, i partially cooked and finally after about 6 months plugged in the sewing machine and sewed up DS ripped trousers that i have promissed for months to do, and how do i get repaid for all this.... beeing woken in the middle of my nignt *sigh yawns if i go back to bed that is it, if i can stay awake long enough to drink my coffee i may be able to wake up a bit and go have a bath, just remind myself not to lie down after bath or i will sleepLife is about give and take, if you can't give why should you take?0 -
enjoy your coffee and bath pap or going back to bed, whichever you end up doing.0

just got a text from DS he arrived ok, so texted him back to now calm down.
I'm going to try to stay up as i want to get my sleep pattern back to normal, yeah ok i am probably kidding myslef on thatLife is about give and take, if you can't give why should you take?0 -
OMG you all seem to have been having some excitement one way and another since I logged off yesterday.
OUCH re the toenail Kass. I'd've been on the floor in a dead faint if that happened to me.
Well done on getting the greenhouse Auntie Axe. I try my best with the garden, but I don't exacly have a green thumb. And Mr LW barely knows the difference between a nettle and a nasturtium! (Til he grabs hold of it LOL)
BZ when Mr LW and I were married, I got a file box from Staples to keep all the cards, bits'n'pieces and such like in. I got a lilac one to match my dress, and I still even have the decoration from the centre of the cake - the lady who did the cake made it out of string and sprayed it silver for me. Hang on while I look for a piccy.....

lw That's lovely! And so nice to see something different from the norm and personal to you.
Hope you have a good weekend and I'll send my voice of reason to perch on your shoulder and whisper in your ear not to overdo it. *g*
Ouchie to all those suffering from various ills - big hugs to all of you.
Ears pricked up to an advert on TV earlier about regaining your natural balance (in my mind after falling) and it turns out it was for a gel to regain your natural Ph balance *whispers* down there! :rotfl:

Ive had Bells Palsey before, it's like having one side of your face frozen and drooping, it looks a bit like youve had a stroke. It didnt last long with me, Id see your gp, just to be on safe side. Ouch, I am cringing just thinking about your poor toe. (((hugs)))
Now the bad news, my 2 year old g/s has swine flu and is very poorly with it. The dr came out to visit them and has given him a script for Tamiflu.
Dad's been rushed back to hospital this morning, he still cant keep any food down and has lost 1 1/2 stone, theyve taken him back to Guilford hospital as thats where he had the op, they think he might have a blockage. I cant even visit him unless dh takes me as I cant drive that far.
And my bladders flared up againReal stupidity beats artificial intelligence every time.
