bz i bet whats frightening is the ammount you have actually achieved and crossed off the list....
lw aww colour run is bad, no real way of avoiding it then i guess.0 -
Aw thanks pcl. I don't think it's quite as satisfying as it should be....but picturing/looking at all the things that have been done does make me feel better. I'll be really pleased to see it all come together
I'm sure I'll be a blubbering WRECK on the day!!
(Seriously, I have 2 sides of A4 (at least) of a to-do list though!)"I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -
BZ you'll be FINE on the day! I should opt for waterproof make-up though, just to be safe.:D;) Well done on finding the bag, btw.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0

LOL Thanks Lw. I meant emotional wreck cos it'll all just flood out. I'm incapable of being overjoyed (or peed off) without tears these days!
DEFFO going with the waterproof makeup tho"I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -
Just a quick one guys cos I'm feeling very confused today.
No more visitors through the night pcl but still strange things going on and I saw something in white sitting on the stairs the other evening. I went back and walked past again to see if there was someting that might have caught the corner of my eye and looked like something else but no there wasn't a thing on the stairs and the carpet is brown. Oh and there is something playing tricks on me. Just stupid things like opening my bedroom door when I know I've left it shut so Charlie can't go in and claw the bed. And now my sausage casserole sauce has gone missing. I know it sounds stupid but honestly it has just vanished! I haven't done a proper shop yet and have been too exhausted to clean the cupboards (not that they're dirty but you know what I mean don't you) so I've just been using one and the rest are empty, plus the kids can't reach it so I know it isn't them
I'm in agony. I've two abcesses flared up and one of them is pressing on a nerve and making the right side of my face droop. It even hurts to breathe through my right nostril. Got some amoxy stuff from doc but it's always been sh!te in the past so I can't see it doing what it's supposed to now. Can't complain though after I got past receptionist who assured me he wouldn't prescribe me anything without seeing me first. I kept assuring her he would until in the end she got tired before me and gave in. Half an hour later I got a rather begrudged call from her to tell me both things I asked for was ready :rotfl:
Err yeah, I said a quick one didn't I?
Am I going mental or has tenmah joined us on here before and is blackpaw new? To you both anyway!
Well done bz, things are blending nicely! I'm using the countdown to your wedding also as the countdown to kids going back to school
I really wish I had the energy to go upstairs and record DS1. He has his headphones in and is singing soooooo out of tune :rotfl:0 -
kass I think Jamla changed names to blackpaw? I thought I'd recognised tenmah too.
Do the kids not go back a week before the wedding? My nieces/nephew do..."I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -
I've had things go missing like that before, Kass. Never anything like casserole sauce, though - the last item was my engagement ring:mad::mad: It was given back a few months later (in a place where I genuinely could not have accidentally left it).
Sorry to hear about the abscesses - doncha just lurve GP receptionists!! Hope you feel btter soon.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
bz Do hope that Florist is sorted for you - that would be a big item to cross off the list.
GP said a No to upping the steroids and I do understand why - the long-term damage will be a price I have to pay anyway, so they want to minimise it. Gave me a choice of either a referral to the Falls Clinic where they check all things Neuro etc or to Physio. I chose the Physio, as I KNOW why I'm falling - general muscle weakness, lack of balance etc, but I haven't seen a physio for nearly two years now and my needs have changed since then, so it will be good to have a re-assessment.
