Fibromyalgia (part 2)

Hello
My daughter is waiting for a diagnosis of Fibro and I wondered if I could ask a question (that you might not want to answer!)
She is having great trouble in going to the toilet (wee). She is wondering if her muscles are so tight that they just won't relax to let her go.
It is causing her great distress as each visit takes a long time, and she has to strain so much, she is using lots of energy just to go to the toilet.
Has anyone else found this and if so is there anything she can take to help her with it. She is 22 yrs old.
Thanks
Hi Tenmah, I have a lot of problems with my bladder including not being able to empty it properly which leads to almost constant infections. I've had pills from the doctor and instills from the Uro which aren't helping any more. Bladder problems are a common Fibro symptom but doesnt seem to be talked about much. All I can suggest for now is tell your daughter to lkeep a glass of water beside her all day and sip from it constantly to try and flush everything out. Im seeing my Uro again next month and am going to ask about a couple of treatments Ive been recommended,. Let us know how your daughter gets on. Were not supposed to give medical advice here but I think drinking wter is ok  if you want any more advice you can pm me.Real stupidity beats artificial intelligence every time.

sue I do have the next one and I've finished it, so will make sure I get it off to you tomorrow along with a couple of others - if they fit in the envelope!
Am off to docs this morning to record fall and get ankle looked at - you know that really deep ache you get? Think I may ask if I can (legitimately) up my steroids for a week or two to reduce the inflammation - nothing to do with the fact that I feel like a new woman on a higher doseI must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to breakMy attitude depends on my Latitude 49° 55' 0" N 6° 19' 60 W0 -

I got this clutch/handbag (it has a detatchable strap) for the wedding day, so I can put painkillers/tissues/makeup touch ups in it. I got it off eBay (the description said it was cream but I took a gamble based on the pic and it's actually ivory) and it came today and it's just what I wanted - yay!
My sister and I went to get her new car from near Bradford today. Didn't take as long as I thought it might, and she said on the journey about her mil's friend that does flowers...which I'd forgotten all about!! They'd told me about her when we already thought we had a flower woman, but this friend did the buttonholes for my sister's wedding (years ago) and does it for the pleasure and would only want cost! There's is a God and he does love me! :A
Now to see what purple lisianthus and whiter gerberas without all the fillers etc would look like before I cast it in stone. We were gonna ring her when we got back from the car pickup, but the school rang to say my nephew's not well (sister is of course paranoid about swine flu now that one child in the school has it) so she had to shoot off to get him.
What else can I babble about...?;)

Sounds like it really is all coming together now, BZ.
Suep you take it easy! Can you get GD to do sitting-down things while you're looking after her?
Somebody tell me why I always seem to choose clothes that have to be washed separately, by hand, in cold water.I've just waded through a whole pile of such washing, and I'm exhausted now!
Hope everyone's having a good day.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
lw clothes like that i gave up following instructions, unless they are super special/nice they go in the washer and dryer with other laundry and if they dont survive they dont. its surprising how many things do acvtually survive though (low heat dryer and 30/40degree wash).
oh and bz i meant to say our welcome for the games link.0 -
