    Hi Raeh,

Did you not realise, we've had our summer for this year and now we are into the monsoon season :rotfl:. Actually you think I am joking but just recently scientists admitted that the UK does experience a monsoon season . And there we were thinking it was just the usual 9 months winter plus 3 months bad weather .

  • sharon Missed your post earlier - sorry. Lots and lots of hugs to you and if you ever want to talk ....

This swine flu does seem to be getting a bit serious doesn't it. Perhaps we should all start wearing masks a la Michael Jackson?!

Nothing much to say as I'm a bit tuckered out and sitting on the sofa is winning out over doing any housework or anything.
I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to break :D

Hi Sharon, wot she said ;) - I think I've read that book too and it is very good.

I'm really glad your photos came out well - do try not to let it get you down. Although the reason behind having the photos taken is tough - the outcome is great in that your family will have these lovely pictures to look at in years and years to come. When someone passes suddenly with a stroke or a heart attack, their loved ones are often left hunting around for a really good family picture. In a lot of cases they'll quite typically only have a couple and you can guess it will be where one of the kids was pulling a face or crying:rolleyes:.

It's a horrible situation for you, but if there is a good thing to be gained - it's being able to say everything you want to say and hearing everything you want to hear from those closest to you. I had this with my mum (21 years ago this November) but when dad went (12 years ago) - it was just like a light being switched off, we never got the chance to say good-bye but I'm thankful that we often said we loved each other and even more so - that we knew we meant it.

    Thinking of you

    Hi

Thanks for the responses. To those that mentioned it, yes I have been on here before to ask a question about my daughter!

To update - she went to the docs today and she said she does have an infection but felt the problem might be being caused by her medication (Lyrica) and then got an infection because she can't empty her bladder properly. So she gave her some anti biotics and if they don't help they may have to withdraw the Lyrica. It doesn't seem to be making much difference to her anyway, so not too much of a problem.

I may've found our honeymoon destination....(Gotta see what DF thinks, obv, but it's on a working farm where they'll let you be as involved or not as you like! (He loves animals and we'd have a farm if he could ;)))
How gorgeous does this place look? And there's at least 6 glowing reviews on tripadvisor.com where they compare it to heaven :D

 I just checked the availability and it's only available for the weekend or for the week after our honeymoon week :(
Fed up and sick of looking now. :(

  • Oh mate, what a shame. Could you go there for the weekend and then move on to somewhere else nearby? Do you think seeing that has narrowed it down to the sortta place you want to stay? It does look fab.
I suspect that things in this country are getting booked up this summer as the credit crunch is stopping people going abroad?

I'm sure there are some nice places available in Cornwall *wink*

I thought about maybe staying there for the weekend after the wedding and as it's like 4hrs ago maybe taking our time getting up there...? I'll have to see what DF thinks of it or not....

I'm a bit disappointed really (whilst trying to adequately remind myself that he works two jobs and has me and mil2b to car for ) cos the honeymoon was like the only thing I asked DF to take care of (other than his suit/outfit) and I don't think he's looked much (I'd say "at all" but he might've looked once or twice a while ago..?). And I feel pants and he's out at a friend's (Having been at mil2b's last night, working tues night, something else monday night). I'm struggling to work out whether I'm being unreasonable or not....
