:O not still up are you bz? you slept last night and just got up early, i hope anyway
how you doing?

Yeah I slept last night - from about...12.30/1.30am I guess, to about 6.30am when DF's alarms started running interference...that and the phecking heat and birds twittering and...well you get the point. Plus I had what I should/wanted to say to the daft wheelchair service manager (who I've still not rung and managed to get hold of, we're playing answerphone tennis). And I've got joint pains in my legs cos they've been uncovered thru the night, and while I'd normally make them warm to make the aches better, I can't do that because it's too phecking hot.:o
Other than that, I had to get my car in for a full service and MOT pronto as the tax disc ran out yesterday and I realised (while trying to renew said tax disc online on the weekend) that the MOT has run out...altho when that happened I'm not too sure...Can't find the car's paperwork atm tbh. Anyways, managed to get it done yesterday...at a cost of £283.06:shocked: Stupid thing needed 2 new tyres, 2 new number plates (I kid you not), the air filter was blocked up (figured as much when the heaters were pants in winter), spark plugs were a mess, no oil in the damn thing...you get the picture. So having now bought a 6month tax disc (like I can afford a 12month one(!)) I spent £400 on the phecking thing yesterday. *sigh*
I'm still smarting about the stupid doctor's comments about "young people should push themselves" etc and feeling generally betrayed by him now. I still have a zillion things to do before the wedding - including making sure the house is presentable and sparkling for the photos on the morning of, whilst getting ready etc, and that in itself presents a million tasks of its own. I told DF yesterday that I need more help with it, esp after speaking to SIL who told me to give him a kick up his arris, and he got really down and defensive...so I can't win.:o
What else can I moan about...?
Oh yeah, and don't even get me started on the bleeding dental malarky..."I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -

don't worry about the wedding photo's ask the photographer to put vasaline on the lenses for the soft focus look, no one will notice, they will be too busy looking at the brideLife is about give and take, if you can't give why should you take?0 -
Morning all
bz, hugs coming your way, my house is always a mess, don't worry about it. When the big days comes, you will be fabulousI used to be me !! what happened0 -
Ta guys...but I moved in about 5months ago now (can't believe it's been that long) and there are FAR too many things that still need homes. If it was just a case of putting them in their homes and hoovering/dusting etc I wouldn't be so bothered....:o plus of course there's the front garden which'll need to be immaculate..."I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0

BZ like it says on the front of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, DON'T PANIC!
I almost wish I could loan you Mr LW for a couple of days ('cept I need him myself) as he's very good at getting stuff sorted/tidied/put away.
Just take it a bit at a time - it'll all come together in the end.
Have a Wolfy (((HUG))) to be going on with.:oIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
I'd just like DF to have some paid time off so he could do it himself Lw
I've just rung the dental hospital referal people, they'd STILL not received my referal from my good mate dentists, despite me chasing it loads over the last week and my original appt with the dentish on 29 May! The referal woman ended up ringing my dentists direct to chase it up and I now finally have an appointment....for the 11th August, and that just for the consultation...there's no telling how long it'll take to get the actual procedure done..."I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -
Slightly better news, the referal woman listened to my pleas, esp when I mentioned the wedding date and kept her ear out for cancellations and rang me back with 21st July...not great but getting better...;)"I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0
