  • pcl I did forget to saythat you weren't boring us at all! I live my life through here, so positively want to hear what has been happening.

bz Booking cat in is a positive thing as I can leave her there whilst I'm moving and pick her up at tne end of the day for no extra charge. Being an ex-feral, she scares easily when things are moved around and with people and noise, so it'll be safer for her this way. She normally hides under the bed if ther'es noise or strange people, but once the bed isn't there, I was a bit concerned she may run off and hide and then I would stand v little chance of catching her.

Sue I don't have that sort of nerve pain so can't really help except suggest that if you have inflammation around nerves (say in muscles etc) it can set off nerve pain and if you have that in your neck, that could be the cause of the dizzy spells. Forget the worry about driving at the moment, just go to your docs and see if you can get it sorted out. If it isn't easy, then take it from there - your safety and health is the most important thing.

Unity Sorry *g* arachnoiditis *g*. Isn't that a fear of spiders *tee hee*.
Thanks for the reminder of True Blood - I looked it up when you last mentioned it figuring it would be something I might like and then promptly forgot all about it. I've now faved the link.

I started reading a book similar to the last vamp series the other day, but is is very much written for young adults and so similar to the last one that I threw it down in a bit of a strop. sue shall I pop it in the post to you to see what you think and then you can pass to unity afterwards? I still owe you those other books too - I do apologise, I've been a bit taken up with everything here.

Dad is 85 and still takes the tractor out and tops the fields every year and, believe me, it's a bone shaker and not for the faint hearted. I think it's his constant pottering around growing veg and looking after the place that keeps him as mobile as he is even if he is a miserable, arrogant old sod *g*.

Just back from a mystery shop on a car park which backs onto Library and TKMaxx, so got parkng and a fee for shopping when I was planning on going there anyway! Result!

In other words, I've done everything I can today to avoid packing or ironing.

p.s. Unity what a beautiful boy! Talk about chilled!

Surely I've not been through the trauma of hospital visiting and supermarket shopping (for naughty comfort foods...) and you guys have not said out since before I left..??;)

Ms Axe fair enough, I concede.

Mil2b looked terrible today. Having the procedure to put the drain in seems to have really taken it out of her and she was barely with it. It upset me that we didn't have DF's aunt (who "passed" last May) to ring about it and I got a bit teary :crying: She was a brilliant support and could get through to mil2b in a different way to the rest of us. I really miss her, and it's especially reminding of her because she was here last year when mil2b had this last time :(

cwta I will have to reply to your email tomorrow and I'll do it from the main comp, Id forgotten what this laptops like, after a while when Im typing an email the page will go blank and a box comes up saying my time on aol mail has expired, click here to log on again, so I click there and get taken back to the main mail page and lose my mail, its happened 3 times now, the last time I'd almost finished the email when I lost it, its driving me mad and I cant face trying again tonight.
Oh yes please, when you're settled into your new home and got a bit more time Id love some more books, Im not too fussy what their about except for horror stories. You dont need to apologise, I know how hectic your life must be right now ;)

Unity your cats gorgeous. I havn't seen True blood and it does sound good, I'll save watching it until next weekend when dh's going to the Isle of Wight festival withhis mate and I get 3 days of peace :D dd's going too for the first time with her boyfriend and a big group of friends, dh said hes not going to camp anywhere near them, he likes his sleep too much :D

Im sure there was more I wanted to say, but Im getting really tired and my brains stopped working . Im off to bed after Ive checked Amazon for Charlaine Harris books ;)

    Hi folks,

Quick post on the mega-slow 'puter.

((((Sharon)))) Don't know what to say to help - thinking of you, mate.

BZ bummer about the mucking about over your chair - tbh we didn't bother with all that, just went out and bought one for me. OK it cost, but worth it not to have all the hassle and upset. Hope MIL2B goes on alright - fingers X'd.

CwtA good luck with the move - I've sorta lost track, but it must be soon?

PCL hoping Whitney is feeling better.

Um.... I've kinda forgotten who said what, and it'll take me til midnight if I go back and re-read (oh for my own 'puter!!) so I'll just *wave* to everyone else for now.

We start for home tomorrow - staying overnight in Bannockburn and finishing the journey Sunday.

    Keep safe, all.

    'Night.

    Hi all!

Just nipping in to give some hugs to (((sharon)))

I'm shattered. been working again this week but it's sooo worth it. The kids have all been equally brilliant and funny. Can't wait for the Gala's. We've auditioned nearly 800 kids!!

Will try and catch up tomorrow. Sorry, I'm really not meaning to be rude.

    Night guys xxxx

    morning all

bz hope mil feels better today having had time to get over the procedure a little, and hopefully it will help too.

lw have a good , safe trip home.

sue hope you got a decent nights sleep, and the books :) they ar eones i dont buy because my sister does.

kass, tri dont apologise, its not rude, but it is nice to see you when you ahve time/energy to say hello.
  • bz How distressing for you and DF. Was she sedated for the procedure? Hopefully you'll see an improvement in her soon. There's nothing to stop you still talking to DFs Aunt still if it might make you feel better? Loads of ugs sweetie.

Sue How annoying for you! How about writing emails when you are offline and then copy and paste the text into an email? That way you (hopefully) won't lose it.

lw Have a safe journey. Are you stopping off to see sights on the way? I move on Wednesday next week. Eek!

kass, trialia, ditto to what pcl said.

sharon, did you feel the earthquake??!!! How the retail therapy was good for you.

The weather has broken here today, shame, but thr sun was wonderful while it lasted. Now it's cooler, I've got no excuse not to do the ironing *sigh*.

I hurt myself yesterday shifting a faulty tabletop freezer I'm ditching on freecycle. Annoying.

Anniversary of DDay today - wonder why there isn't a minutes silence for it?
