Yay, Im glad your back home safe and sound Auntie axe even though you managed to check in most days you were still missed.

Thanks Unity I didnt think you'd mind, but I still felt a bit cheeky asking :o Im not exactly sure what size, but about 40cms square will be ok, it doesn't have to be exact. It's dd's old Tiny tears, she never used it as she was such a tomboy, I just had to ask dh what that word was, I couldnt think what it was and had to try and describe it to him, I nearly said toyboy :rotfl:Im really tired and have been struggling to stay awake since 7 this evening, so Im off to bed in a minute, nite nite.

No bother at all ;). I am rushing this weekend to get a cardi finished for DD1 who arrives tomorrow afternoon - I have the back and one front done, so got the second side to do today plus two sleeves and the button bands etc. then I can make a start. I have some wonderful bits of yarn so hopefully I can make something she'll love. It's been ages since I did anything for those grand-bairns of yours - but I doubt I can have stuff ready for their birthdays :o - but it doesn't matter if they are a bit late . Anyway I have some nice Aran and some great patterns for boys so chances are they'll be more for the Autumn anyway. Can you give me an idea of their sizes these days?

The monovision lenses are going well - it means I can knit and crochet whilst watching TV now :j.

I hope you had a good Beltane - I'm not up to getting down to Thornborough, even though for once in a very long time I have had a good night's sleep - despite the dreams. Mind you it involved a cocktail of meds :rolleyes2 including the Baclofen as I was twitching like (I can't think of anything even remotely politically correct to say so best say nowt :rotfl:).

Have a good weekend one and all

morning all, hope you all ahd a nice restful nights sleep.

Thank you very much PCL - do you know I have had the best sleep in ages, and that's very surprising as I slept on the sofa for a couple of hours yesterday - woke up watched Corrie and Eastenders plus did some knitting and then fell asleep again and had to be woken to go up to bed :T:T:T. I was only up a couple of times during the night too!

I know that if I rush off and do everything that I should do, I will wreck everything, so I am using my 'Pacing Strategies' as per the Pain Clinic.

You have a good weekend too cherub ;).

    Happy Birthday Sharon! birthday_monkey.JPG
Hope you have a great celebration weekend and that you enjoyed drooling over David Essex (so undignified of you *g*).

Thought I would spend ages in bed today, but am up quite early considering even though am not fully awake yet.

I loved being away, but it's kinda nice to be home too. Helped by knowing I'll be returning in August. I really think I've found my spiritual home there.

I did miss sharing news and catching up with all my friends here.
Hope everyone is feeling well today and making the most of any nice things that come your way.
I must go, I have lives to ruin and hearts to break :D

Happy Birthday Sharon, I hope you've had a lovely day and been spoilt silly.

Unity I must send some more up to date pics of the g/kids to you as soon as I get round to putting them online. G/s is round tomorrow so I will measure him for you if I can catch him ;), and I should see g/d on Thursday so will do her then, shes quite big for her age. Thanks again.

Ive got to go and get ready for the dreaded family meal in a minute
D/h has a cold (man flu) so I dont think we will be hanging around for too long. I've resigned myself to it now and just want to get it over with.

I hope everyones having a good bank holiday weekend

Happy birthday, Sharon. Thanks for the comment from before.

Not posting a whole lot lately - my energy level isn't up to much just now. But I'll be back, eventually. When I'm not so shattered... Have fun, guys.
