CWTA - For goodness sake woman  get some Tena pants and charcoal tablets :D :rotfl:.

Raeh - OMG! Your poor dad, I do hope that he recovers fully. Congratulations to your sister on the birth of Edie, how quick was that? Congratulations to you too on being an auntry again :T.

Suep - Thanks for the Reiki, it is certainly welcome :A my eyebrow has swelled up now so it looks like Mike Tyson has hit me - it just looks like another site of infection so I'll treat it carefully with some Comfrey ointment. The doc wants to see me tomorrow, when hopefully I'll get the swab results so we'll see where we go from there.

Seaside - Thanks for the news on Sharon, it's really lovely that she made it home for her daughter's birthday.

Kass - are you the one going to Thornborough? I seem to remember somebody was but I'm blowed if I can remember who :o.

Thanks to everyone for the good wishes re: the pain clinic appointment. I saw the specialist sister who is brilliant. She took the time to note down everything that has been happening in all the problematical areas and will write to the consultant to tell him that she's spoken to me about a nerve block. She doesn't know if he'll do this, he may just do the facet joint injections again - but I should hear within a fortnight. Whether or not he needs to see me again, or whether I'm just on the theatre list and what for should all be made clear then. They seem well organised, everyone has swabs taken for MRSA so that if they are found to have it they can have treatment to be rid of it before they arrive for procedures.

I managed to sleep a little better last night - apart from the nightmare where I was looking after a hoard of children from 'Shameless' and 'Eastenders' - including Whitney . Now that was scary, trying to keep them all in one place and under control.

LW - I am going to see Crank 2 tomorrow night hopefully, after the Stitch and B1tch group meeting and should get to see 'The Uninvited' either on Friday or next week.

It looks as if the weekend of the 9th might turn out to be a big family weekend for us as DD2 is coming up from the smoke to see us and get her hair done and DD1 just texted today to ask if we fancied seeing her next week. DS will be home for the weekend anyway so fingers crossed :T.

I hope you all have a peaceful night, wake rested, refreshed and in less pain in the morning. :hello:.

Hi Sharon, it's great to see you posting again already. It must be lovely to be back home with the family and sleeping in your own bed. Im glad the op went well too. Im not surprised your feeling a bit down after everything you've been through and hope a few days tlc at home will help you feel a bit more positive.

I should be getting ready for bed, Im really tired , but I've just remembered something, earlier we were all telling LW not to worry about the night out she was dreading, and all along I must have been blocking out the awful truth, Ive got to go out for a meal with dh's family on Saturday night  HELP

    Hi Sharon,

Great to see you back - I hope everything goes well with the op and you are soon feeling brighter.

BZ - Happy birthday :dance::dance::dance::dance::wave: there may even be an e-card later, if they can sort out the problems on the Jacquie Lawson website .

Im off to the opticians now and doc's in the afternoon, then Stitch and B1tch 2nite - and probably popping to T.K. Maxx on the way for some new spoons :o.

Thanks pcl I'd forgotten about it again until I came on here and read it  Im not being nasty but they are weird, I dont know what Im going to wear or what Im going to say (goes into complete panic mode)

Happy Birthday BZ again, I know I said it last night, I wasn't sure if Id get on here today as I have g/d this afternoon. I felt really grotty earlier and went back to bed for an hour as I wont be able to have a nap later, I do feel a bit more awake now, but not much, I hope she's in a quiet mood and will be happy to watch cbeebies and snuggle on the sofa, I doubt it though.

Unity I hope the shingles clears up soon, it sounds worse than ever this time. Also hope you get your nerve block soon , you have way to much to cope with at the moment it must be driving you mad.

Thanks for all the bday wishes guys :)
