  • I shouldn't be allowed to be alone you know. Lasagne now in oven, but why did I try to pull the pasta sheets out of the boiling water with my fingers? And how did ALL the water the Mozarella come in end up over the freshly cleaned kitchen floor?
This had better be worth it.

I wonder if I have that costco thing. I get chest pains every now and then and have done for years so I'm not worried but it does hurt more when I breathe in but it also feels like I'm not getting enough breath so need to take deep breaths which of course really hurts. It's kind of a sharp pain and I don't get it going down my arm or anything so I've never bothered having it checked out. I'm just wondering cos I have an infection (sounding similar to bz's) at the minute so that may be causing it.
I get them mostly down the side (usually left side) of my rib cage and when I dare to breathe in it feel like I've got cracked ribs. I end up sitting/standing at a very funny angle trying to stretch it out. I also get what I call my "spleen pain" which is like my bottom rib is broken or my spleen is massively enlarged. It's usually hot and sometimes swollen and prevents sitting/standing normally or bending over that way so end up resuming the daft angle to take pressure off that side. The best of all though is when both attack at the same time, and on both sides. Now that's fun.

Thanks for your concern pcl :)

Trialia thanks for the explaination. I have to say that doesn't sound fun! It also sounds like I've just been blinded by science with all those long complicated words/names/terms! ;)

Cwta you would think that at least a little common sense would've been ingrained by now. *Sigh* ;) Hope you've not done any proper damage to your fingertips! And can I just ask why you didn't just put the pasta sheets in without cooking them first? I know you can do it both ways, but maybe for your fingertips sake you should consider without boiling next time? ;) Let us know how it turns out, I'm most intrigued now...and getting hungrier by the minute thinking about it! I've got some garlic and parsley flatbread to look forward to with tortellinis I think :) Shall have to wait til DF gets back from dog-walking and mother-checking duties first though. ;)

Costco is more often than not accompanied by the heart cramps which do resemble a heart attack - unmistakable and one of the defining points.

Dare I say it sounds all too familiar?

I don't think I like this collectors corner anymore... ;)

did you cold water the fingers careful? have to say i have never even thought to precook the pasta before making lasagne.

those of you who have house fairies, does it mean you tidy the clutter away regularly before they come in? what do you do when they are there, go out or try and keep out of their way?

stick it in photobucket and it should give you the html code thingy to copy and paste, as well as the url to link to the photo so you can do either or. someone else can explain better than i can though.

    hello all :D

i get those rib pains, sharp ones when i breath in that catch my breath and every time iv complained about them [i get a pain right into my shoulder and down my arm too] im told its just the muscles around my ribs

bz that sounds yukky with your tongue :( even a little spot feels HUGE so that must be horrid, hope its improved tomorrow x

kass cant wait to see photos of charlie :D both my cats never sleep in the cat beds, no one has ever touched the radiator one  but they both sleep on the back of the sofa [they look like parrots on my shoulders] or on the dog bed lol

CwtA i hope your fingers are ok :( i always boil the pasta sheets forst as then i can get them laid properly .. they just dont bend when they are hard lol

pcl, thats A LOT of eggs :rotfl:did you get them delivered? i must go and get my 2 cats ones and a dog one.

bz theres quite a few decent eggs for £1 this year ;) i dashed to tesco yesterdy when i saw in grabit that there were cadburys ones in lovely tins, £6.99 each and 2 for £3, i think it was maybe a price mistake but it was on the shelf and scanned at that :D id already got the kids eggs but at that price .... ;) had a long 'discussion' with dh as to whether its a 'bargain' when i wasnt intending spending any money on more eggs :rotfl:

sharon all positive thoughts coming your way for the bone building meds to be doing their stuff ;)

jo i hope the chest infection isnt too bad and clears quickly :( i sometimes think all my life is, is work , feed the kids, clean and sleep [oh and get on here ;)]

i know iv missed something obvious i wanted to reply to  iv scrolled back as far as i can and iv totally used up the last few brain cells i had!!

i hope everyone i havent mentioned is ok and im sending a peaceful and comfortable [ oh yeah , i wish] night to everyone :) xxxxxxxxx

i've never had a cat that slept in a bed, bought a few, but they prefer the cushions or my fleecy throws on the furniture,

went to that link on costco, had a little sniffle, well at least it gives me another name to throw at my doctor, when he first diagnosed me with FMS he told me i had soft tissue rheumatism, how quaint

CwtA did you get your water bill sorted, cos they have links in the debts bit of the site to the water board trust and people like that who can help

hope everyone is managing with their days, thanks for being a bunch of friendly faces who know what its like
