Hey Glam - I got mine today (28 weeks) and cna now send it off. The NICE guideleines definitely say to see the GP at 25 weeks, not the Mw, and we commented on it today as apparently it's causing problems.
My MW said it typical of this government to bring something in without thinking it through properly and I have to say I agree! DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

NICE Guidlines say
interestingly the 25wk app is down as an extra one if your first baby - thankfully in my area everyone has it first time or not25 weeks Your midwife or doctor should:
• check the size of your abdomen
• measure your blood pressure and test your urine for protein.

Interesting. In the booklet given to me it says GP, and is published by my local hospital trust. It doesn;t give the option of Mw for that one. :j

We don't have a 25wk appointment where I am, even for first babies - it was 23 weeks and then 28 weeks, both with midwife.
I sent my hipg form off 6 weeks ago and got the payment today.0 -
