PPI Reclaiming Discussion part 4

Has anyone else heard, or received similar, or has any advice; I am still paying the loan insurance, but surely if they have gone in to administration, then that is also null and void so why am I paying it?0

Thanks, very tempting to start putting serious pressure on but is this going to make them dig their heels in even more.... dont know what to do getting very very impatient, I really need that money before xmas.

if its any consolation to you , i had a claim with fos for fp it was waiting for an adjudicator since march this year. i telephoned asking about the progress of this on a monday to be told it was still waiting for an adjudicator, and then on the friday of the same week i recieved a letter from fos to say it had been upheld, as the saying goes "dont believe everything you hear" i would just wait it out for a week or two more, there is no pont getting stressed over something you have no control over. i hope you do get this before xmas, and i have everything crossed for you xxxx0

I think that's really good advice !! I think what's happened with your claim is the FOS write to each company and ask them to reconsider their position, sometimes they cave others they don't so have to be allocated to an adjudicator, I think the FOS do a great job under VERY difficult conditions (ie receiving 12500 complaints in 4 days it's a surprise they actually get round to everyone)0

All thanks to Marshallka with her encouragement, I finally received a letter today from the FOS.
This one we have been in circles with and being pushed from pillar to post.
Anyway it seems they have considered the complaint and its no longer Endeavour but Hamilton, apparently when the FOS wrote to them the last time, they did not give any explanation, only told them they were not responsible, so this one went no further, so it seems its back to them again.
The letter we received today is from the Consumer Consultant, to let us know that they will now ask Hamilton for further information about the case and as soon as they are able to do so, they will pass our complaint on to one of their ajdudicators, then the usual "the adjudicator will consider carefully what we and Hamilton have said before setting out their view and how the complaint should be settled.
Then because they are currently dealing with a particularly large number of complaints it may take a while before an adjudicator is free to look into the case.
(We did ask for fast track), but to be honest we did not even expect to receive this so soon, as it was only last month we sent the docs to the FOS.
So thank you Marshallka so much, your a star.:T:T:T
And I do hope you hear something soon of yours as well, fingers crossed.:A;)XxxThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

that's great news - especially welcome after ALL the advice you've given to everyone one here !!!!
Thank you Tiggrae, also thanks to you as well.
I would never had made a start from the start with this one otherwise.......cheers......:T:T:T.
To be honest I was dreading opening this letter, and was expecting it to be like the older letters to tell me they are unable to take this matter further, so I am over the moon, they are treating it as a brand new complaint, was lucky they reconsidered it really, I think like what both you and Marshallka have said "using the correct wording helps".:T:T:beer:The one and only "Dizzy Di"0
