Just a little update.. Received responses from Both the FSA and FOS today regarding some procedural issue I had concerns with.

The FOS response was at best very General But Confirmed that they would take into consideration inferences as to the lenders documentated role in the transaction and would very much like to see my complaint (this was a pre-complaint) and it took just 2 weeks for a response YAY!

The FSA have taken my issues as a complaint against them, something to do with me saying that the Agents at the FSA should not be telling consumers that the broker is 100% responsible without having the facts in front of them, and based on the evidence provided they are now going to fully investigate my complaint against the FSA.. not my intention but at least it does shine a little light on the practices of FIRSTPLUS, so hope we can get the FSAs higher up conclusion on this matter.

Rest assured that many of your points were argued, and brought to light also.

Also managed to get in a bit about certain Phoenix Brokers.

All in all its been a very interesting day.

Well done you. Maybe this might help change the way complaints are dealt with by the FOS

I know but I ended up having the ppi so they knew what they were doing. When they know you are a single parent of an 8 year old they play on your emotions. Cos thats what I thought. Oh my god that insurance will have to pay for him for the next 10years what if there isnt enough?

Yes they are very cunning. They have no shame at all only thinking of profits to line their own pockets.

I have the loan agreement... is that enough?

You can also send a SAR if you wanted to the cost is £10 and you should be sent all the information relating to your account including telephone calls.

It will take 40days to receive the info. I prefer a SAR myself as I think you obtain a lot of info and can find a lot of evidence to use in your claim.

Its upto you though which ever way you would like to do this.

Also any letters you send make sure they are sent Recorded Delivery as proof.

Think the SAR template letter is on page 5 or 6 on this thread

The direction I am going now, is not one that an individual can take, you need some representation. However rest assured once we secure some good relations with firms I will be happy to pass on the details.
