    Marshallka,

I know I cannot do anything about "Click" now but have been looking back at the reports, whilst going through all my documents earlier.

If you remember I ordered some reports from Companies House, and they sent the information for what I requested on Click.

I have also been searching for my paperwork on them again and will continue to look again tomorrow, as its nowhere to be seen at this time, know in me I put it too safe.

Can you remember the Company number for mine at all?

I am having trouble opening the one file from Companies house, its confirming a damaged file and cannot be repaired, but the ones I opened were these here:

    Click Finance Limited

    Number: 04239176

    Address as shown companies house:

    Burley House
    12 Clarendon Road
    Leeds
    Yorkshire
    LS2 9NF

    Date of Incorporation - 21 June 2001

    Dissolved

The secretary, date of appointment Feb 2005
Director - Mr RF appointed 30 June 2003
Director - Mr ST appointed 01 Sept 2001

    ..............................................................................................
    Click Financial Limited

    Number: 04183791

    Incorporation - 21 March 2001

    Address:

    Click House, Bear Lane
    Farnham
    Surrey
    GU9 7LG

    Same directors as above:
    RF appointed - 30 June 2003
    ST appointed - 21 March 2001.
    ............................................................................................

    Click Group Limited

    Number: 04781131

    Address
    Click House, Bear lane
    Farnham, Surrey, GU9 7LG.

    Same directors
    both appointed - 29 May 2003.
    ...............................................................................................

What I do remember is on my paperwork is that address of Bear lane.
But the first number rings the bell, although I can't be certain until I find my documents again.

    Cheers ;)Xx

Does anyone else have a PPI claim in with the ombudsman for this long? We claimed against LLoyds TSB who told us to go away twice and refused to cancel the policy as well. The claim has been with the ombudsman for almost 2 yrs now and they just keep telling me there are lots of cases in backlog and it will be dealt with un due course

Its terrible for it to have been there near on two years. Has it been to an adjudicator yet then? If not then I would certainly ring or write and make a complaint if you can. To not even have been with an adjudicator yet is ridiculous. I know of some on here that post a few months and my own is a year and some have stated 18 months but never seen two years..I hope you get it sorted. Can you ask for it to be looked at cause of suffering on this? That is how some get them through quicker?

Di, you could look back at the posts perhaps. I have no idea of this one.

Are you passing it back to FOS then?

I take it you mean if this has to go to FOS??

Without fast track and without goodwill getures being offered in the meantime (cause then the FOS have to get an adjudicator to send YOU the goodwill offer) I would say it has gone up from 6 months (it states) to near on 12/18 months. People do keep saying (and always have done) that more adjudicators are being employed but it seems still some are waiting for far too long so from my experience on here no-one gets seen any quicker yet.

Even if you win through FOS the firms are taking then ages for payouts too.

It entirely up to you as to which way to go as only you know how strong your case is. I would say though that using the Ombudsman service is a long wait but often worth it in the end. If you wait for egg to come to a decision and the decision is against you then you wait even longer but if they uphold it then you are not queueing at FOS???. Its really your call here. Just throwing in some pros and cons.

Why would you need to request a SAR from them now?

Yes it is BUT we have to remember its the firms not upholding complaints when you have a good case that causes the problems at FOS.
