PPI reclaiming is one thing ...but can claims be made on a high rate of interest on a actual loan. Say a loan which was taken out at 26.5% and the person taking out didnt know better!0

Just to let you all know that the nice friendly letter i wrote to HFC bank asking for paperwork has born fruit and they have sent me the paperwork!
I have decided to pursue the case myself (as advised on this forum). I hasten to add that i will print out the form but where to send it..where are HFC bank offices?0 -

I've never heard of people being successful. I mean it's like going to a shop, buying a tv and then complaining years later that the tv cost too much isn't it?0 -

Yes that makes sense now. Thank you0 -
Unless of course the firm sold something to someone that was "mentally impaired" perhaps;).melorablack wrote: »I've never heard of people being successful. I mean it's like going to a shop, buying a tv and then complaining years later that the tv cost too much isn't it?

...lol no i understand now.
Ok so as i said i had managed to get the paperwork back from HFC. Its amazing what you find when you actually read something. Ive just found that ive paid PPi twice on one loan. I have scanned documents if anyone wants to see them!0 -
I have just sent my first letter to Paragon about a secured loan I got back in 2005 which was aggresively sold to me with PPI which I didn't realise was in effect another loan. I was sent to Paragon through Loans.co.uk but my signed papaerwork is through Paragon. Should I have sent this letter to them or Paragon? I am little confused and have only just realised I could claim anything back. I have repaid this loan back in 2007. I also have a loan I paid back in 2007 from HSBC - has anyone got anything back from them too?
DMP May 08 - £27,000 approx! Debt free 2024!!0 -
Hi, I would be very grateful if anyone can advise on how to move forward on PPI's which were taken out about 12-15yrs ago. I have written 2-3 times to both Capital one and The Abbey and both have rejected claim. I have addressed both complaints to the FLA who say Capital one and The Abbey aren't one of the companies they are involved with so they won't do anything and these accounts are too old for the ombidsman. I don't know where to turn now. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.0
