I think my theory may be correct as in the order they are being processed.

Although i would expect priority cases such as Dialysis to be dealt with first.

I sent mine to the FSCS in July 2008 and prior to this it was with the FOS. I have not received any letter to date from FSCS, however there is time yet and I will let you all know. I did call them about a week ago and was informed my case had been passed to deloittes for priority, however I should have thought they would have sent a letter. My number is between 100 and 175

Maybe the letter is on it's way to you. I would think if it has been with FOS you shouldn't be waiting long at all for a response - fingers crossed;)

I think I must have been one of the first in regards of my case with the FSCS (Twopart ltd), or should I now say Deloittes, my ref number is that of 1.

However, they are due to to be declared in default at any time, I understand though this can still take some time.

Good luck to all you Picture reclaimers, and anyone else waiting through the FSCS in regards of the company your complaining of.;)

    Hi everyone,

Nassie has just rang to say she has received a letter from the FOS and they are now writing to A&L.

Let's hope they come back with an offer.

Good luck to all who have claims with Picture.

I hope you all have good news soon

    hi all,
i am in the process in claiming back £1050 worth of PPI off loans.co.uk. i took out the ppi when i got the loan, and repaid it back in full in 2005. however i got a letter 2 weeks ago saying that my ppi would end on 8/8/09. i had no idea i still had the ppi! i thought i would of had a rebait for this when i paid off the loan. never was i informed clearly that this would be the case, and i had no idea that the ppi would turn into a "personal policy" when i paid the loan off. since there was no debt, i did not need the policy. Is this fair, can i get my money back?

No contact was made with me after the loan was repaid, so if i needed to claim, i would of not known who to contact. even so, i had no idea that this policy would continue. im mad at the fact no mention of this policy change was made when i paid the loan off.

the company has been fined by the FSA already, so do i have a valid claim?

    thanks to all

    martin

    Hi there Martin

I would definately give it a go.

It's so annoying not knowing anything about the PPI until years later, as you did not know about this then you do have a case.

Get reclaiming, write to them with your reasons, they have 8 weeks to respond in full, keep on at them until they resolve or until they issue you with the final response, the final response should also enclose details of the financial ombudsman service (FOS), you can take your complaint to these if your not happy with the outcome.
    Post by recorded delivery.

Yes Loans.co.uk were fined for mis selling PPI in Jan 2005 I think it was, but even if you taken your loan out a different time, you do have a case to complain on.
For more info and help check the link here, with templates and checklist of mis selling:

Good luck and please keep us posted.

    Cheers;)

Was reading the posts on this site back in August 2008 where the FSCS had said that Picture would be declared in default in two to three weeks. How wrong were they??!!
