hi dialysys, nice to hear your more optimistic now, when your house is sold and if the company doesnt get all the money back you owe them, make them wait, offer a small amount a week , they deserve it, they will have no security from you now so stuff em!!

I have rang the FOS and they have received my compaints form.

They have said it may be 3 to 4 weeks before they write to A&L though due to a backlog of letters.

How long ago did you post them?
Sometimes they can take a little while before they let you know.

    Hi Di,

Nassie has gone back to work as she is on till 8pm

She sent her forms on Monday so in a way they have acknowledged her letter pretty quick.

I am sorry to hear about your dad and I hope things go well for him.

It must be confusing for him being in hospital but you and your family are there for him.

I wish him all the best and hope he gets out soon

Take care I will be thinking of you

Hi Showergirl, thanks for letting us know.;)
Good luck to Nassie then, hope they deal with her complaint very soon.

Thanks hun, I will know more a little later, yes your right, being in hospital with his condition does not help but makes him feel very confused, I shall post up as I hear more as well.
    Thank you so much.:A;)XXXX

  • Hi

I first complained to Egg about February time - ended up going to FOS who sent a letter early in May to say they would contact me within 2 months. Fast forward to August and I had not heard anything - so thought I would give them a quick ring. Will post outcome as and when it happens!

Most people wait well over 12 months unless you qualify for fast tracking. FOS have so many complaints and even fast track now is taking time. If its only been there since May and you have not got financial hardship then you can look at waiting another 9 months plus I am afraid. If however you are experiencing hardship then let them know and see what they say.
