Hi all, hope all is well and good. Miserable outside isnt it ? Will it ever stop raining ?

Anyway, just want to throw this out there, and see what the general consensus is ?
My girlfriend has had her Barclaycard since 2003 and whilst going through the statements recently we have discovered on each and every month a charge has been applied for something called Payment Protection Plan.

The charge seems to fluctuate with whatever the o/s balance was. So if she believes she has been missold this policy can she reclaim it ?

Does anybody know for sure if this Payment Protection Plan is a PPI type of insurance and secondly has anybody else been successful in reclaiming it.

Presumably the monthly amount gets totted up plus 8% ?
It certainly sound like PPI on a credit card and if she believes it missold then she can definately make a complaint for this.

    Hi barloo,

Hope your well, weather not up to much is it?

I agree with Marshallka it does sound like PPI they have added on the card, it does get very expensive, so if I were your girlfriend, tell her to go for it, with her reasons of how she believes she was mis sold this product, good luck.;)

    Hi everyone,

Hope you are all having a good day.

    Need your help

The managers wife where hubby works needs our help.

Six years ago she was approached in town by a canvasser and offered a credit card from MBNA.

She signed up for the card

She was pregnant at the time, was not employed, and has a medical condition called Lupus.
None of this was asked about when she signed for the card, the canvasser just ticked the boxes for her.

On her monthly statements she has ppi of about £29.51 a month which she does not know what it is for, and is of no use to her as she cannot claim on it.
No one has explained to her what this ppi is for.

She has asked if we could help her. So if anyone has an address for MBNA I would be grateful.
