    Hi Beaniebabe

    Hope your well.;)
Thanks for posting this up, very interesting.
And I'm sure Dialysis will be back again shortly to read this as well, thanks so much.:A;)XXX

Have the FSCS updated the site yet on latest company default?
I will take a look anyway, but Twopart should not be far behind Picture, fingers crossed X
    Di
Don't think the FSCS have updated the site yet. Hope you are well Di. Hopefully it may be the same for Two Part :D

Do you know what counts as a priority case beaniebabe?

I contacted them as my OH has been off work due to ill health. As a result of this I have fallen behind with a few repayments and pictures insurance company refused to pay out anyway as they stated his condition was due to a pre existing medical condition and he was on a temporary contract anyway (Shame they didn't mention this when they suggested the policy cover him and not me!!)
Since then I have constantly been on the FSCS case, made them aware of our circumstances and requested it is treated as priority. What their views are in respect of priority is anyones guess!!

Hope they get this sorted for you soon, its been 4 weeks since they were in Default so lets hope in 8 weeks or less you hear something.
This month may be the first month we struggle to find the full payment on time.
    Hope Picture arent hassling you.xx

Thanks Pinknico. Picture haven't hassled me since I changed my telephone number. All the letters I have received from them seem standard and I have received 2 up to now.
I am just hoping this sorts itself out soon so I can get straight. No-one wants to be behind with repayments but sometimes there is no other choice and you can only pay what you can.;)

I gave FSCS a call the other day as I had received an e-mail from them stating that they had sent my case to Delloites.
The FSCS confirmed that they sent my file on the 10th July and would be dealing with it as priotity.
I asked how long it could take until this was finalised and they estimated all claims would be dealt with by January 2010, However any priority cases could be dealt with in approx 3 months from date picture was declared in default:D
Just thought this bit of information may be useful for Dialysis and others who are desperate for an end to this matter!!:D
Thanks beaniebabe for that info I havnt heard anything yet my MP recived a letter from the FSCS basicaaly telling us what we already know, our case is with deloitte and being dealt with as priority bit late now like, but the letter stated that due to the complexity of these cases it is highly likely that more information will be needed from third parties so it may be a while yet. I dont understand how they have have been dealing with these cases for a year and they still may need further info:confused:

Why cant they just say what is complex and who the third parties are?
It makes me wonder if there is more to this than meets the eye or if third parties are Picture insurers?
Questions, questions, questions and no answers.

No idea but I presume the third parties could be the insurers, details of phone recordings when the policy was taken out, it may be your GP in order to back up any pre existing medical conditions. Other than this I don't know who else !
