Just been reading through some of these fantastic post, hope someone can help.
Last year I logged a complaint with FOS regarding front loaded policy with the Funding Corporation (nightmares) but it was returned as it appears the F/C were not regulated at the time, I see now that FOS are condsidering all PPI missold cases, can I send in my complaint again or have I missed my chance?
Thanx xxxxxxxx0 -

Hi there
It's so annoying when that happens isn't it?
I would give them a ring and tell them that your ppi was a Single premium, think Nat posted up something in the lines of that they may consider looking at these complaints again, give it a go and good luck.;)
Please could you let us know that would be cool - cheers.

If you take a look here then this may give you an idea as to why this is happening but like I say as yet nothing has updated on FOS site or the FSA etc.
FSA is considering the issues raised by the FOS and will reply formally with a decision on possible measures to take under the WI process, which include:- Supervisory or enforcement action.
- Regulatory action under the Unfair Terms in Consumer Contacts Regulations 1999.
- Securing redress.
- Publishing rules or guidance (or both).

Cheeky beggars. Notice there have been alerts about tax office e mails coming through as well. The register now for tax credits saw a spam e mail the other day and they look very convincing.:mad:0 -

My mother I believe have been having these calls, but she has nothing to reclaim, will double check on this news with her.
My phone rang earlier, I did not make it on time to pick it up, but the answer machine kicked in, it was one of those "automated refund messages" press 5, like he** will I be doing this lol.The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Hello All,
I've been trying to reclaim my mis-sold PPI,and after many many letters to a different
companies and getting nowhere.I've actually got money to pay whole thing off.
I've been told by FOS that looking into my case can take up to 18 months, which i can't afford to wait, because from the £140 a month £115-120 goes to pay interest so basically
im wasting money.
So here is the question: if i pay the whole thin off now, will i be able to reclaim any PPI after?
I would appreciate your advice..
Thanks XGood Luck Everyone!:beer:0
