    Thanks Marshalka
I think I get it. :T I have paid 24 repayments to date.
Am I right in thinking that I will get 142.23 x 24 (Plus 8%) back.
What I have had repaid back will be deducted from 12.500 and the balance of whatever this is will be deducted from my loan and the loan restructured.

For example if I were to get 4000 back FSCS would then have to take 8.500 (plus interest) off the loan balance.

Maths was never my subject!!!:o X
You are right about the cheque that should come back to you which is what you have paid them and stood out of pocket by and then depending on the rest is how you settlement would be worked out. It should be of the same terms though and the same APR too.

hi there, have you explained to the company that are handling your complaint, that you are going into repo? they might be able to hurry it up for you, if it wasnt for front loaded ppi no one would have arrears or repo threats, its because of this loan that you are in this position (if you have allready then sorry for asking) xx

I have also heard some companies use all the payment to pay off the PPI loan first but not sure how true this is? xx
That would be in your terms and conditons and its front loading the interest/PPI. Its really the rule of 78 method and depending on what your terms and conditions say about this?? Its good for them to use against you when you come to cancel the PPI as they can say "you've already paid it so you are due nothing back" BUT when you come to reclaim it do you think they would say the same???
Some terms and conditions are very misleading and say that the repayments can be used to either repay the capital or interest at their discretion. This term was obviously devised especially for PPI front loading.

hi Amersall I have informed the FSCS but when I rung this morning and asked if I could contact Delotties they said I would have to wait until I heard from them. Once this happens (if its not too late) I will ring them and inform them. You are right though about the front loaded PPI we wouldnt be in this position now:mad:
