Hi there Pammie hope your well.
I would contact the Financial compensation Scheme then (FSCS) to ask if they have them listed with them, I also have one with them due to a company going into liquidation a while back, ring them first just to ask if they have them listed, they should then tell you to email them to arrange for a form to be sent to you.

Good luck Pammie, please let us know what they say.;)XXThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Your welcome Pammie.
Do you know when they went into liquidation?
I'm sure the FSCS will check this out for you, just tell them your aware that Ocean Finance went into liquidation and you are asking if they have them listed with them in order to make a claim.;)
Fingers crossed XXThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Hi Pammie
So sorry to hear this.
What year did you take this out, please remind us?
I would contact the FSA then as they said and ask them, maybe its because they will check on the company number as well just to make sure:
http://www.fsa.gov.uk/Pages/Doing/Contact/index.shtml
Ocean finance may have had various brokers, where "some "may" have been covered, if you've no paperwork on this to check the company ref number then its worth asking the FSA just in case then get back to the FSCS so they can double check this out.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

So let me get this right....Ocean Finance have gone bust and can't pay up for PPI refunds but the Ocean Finance Loans & Mortgages can afford prime time TV ads and their own TV channel!!!!!!!!!!
Please tell me I'm getting confused and it's not so!:eek:0
