As much as I loathe RBS, I have to say their head office has been very much more cooperative than my branch. I got no joy there so took it to head office. They restored my loan as if Id never taken out PPI in the first place wiping a considerable amount from it and, at my request, put a proportion of it into my account to use whereever I wished. Which is why I cant understand why the FSO insist they won't give me any cash IF (as they kept saying) they decide I WAS mis-sold PPI, in 2002, whilst temping, with a chronic thyroid condition.

they say i was told i had 30 days to do it in (no) new to me

    any help would be great

    elaine

Hi Elaine out of interest when was your black horse loan dated? I'm claiming PPI back from black horse for my Mum, so far i had a letter back basically saying, bugga off you weren't miss sold and we are going to hide behind the fact that at the point of sale (2003) they werent FSA regulated. If they are'nt FSA registered the Ombudsman probably can't help. argh!

I have wrote back saying that the FOS aren't the only option i will take them to court to reclaim the money. I am waiting a reply but if it's a final response of no then i will help her go to court. She has a really good case at the point of sale her employment was only about 12hours and she had recently had clinical depression....2biggies on the miss selling checklist but did they check?? Did they heck so shes been charged money for nothing like all the other victims. Keep us posted.........

Hi soon, have you had a payout yet from black horse. I am also waiting, FOS sent me a letter around 20th March saying BH would pay up plus £200 compo & to give them upto 12 weeks. That time runs out on the 20th June but i suspect BH still won't pay out & e'll have to report them to FOS. I'll keep you updated, please keep me updated on your progress. Regards, SUFC

    Thanks SUFC,
I am sorry to say I haven't as yet! I think you may be right! My deadline is something like the 16th of June! Will certainly let you know if anything happens! I am not going to let them get away with it and I will be straight onto the FOS if they don't!!!
