hi pinknico i wont to claim PPI back, companys are GE MONEY,LLOYDSx2(loans),LLOYDSx2(credit cards),BARCLAYS(C/C),SKYX2(C/C),HALIFAX(C/C), GOLDFISH(C/C) CAPITOL 1X2(C/C).....alot of debt i know, IVA has helped with the payments. they will take a percentage of the money (claim of ppi). this will go back to my creditors anyway!.
we got stuck in a vicious circle of using credit cards then using a loan to pay them off, then if money was tight using the cards to help.

hi thank you to DI3004 and AMERSALL, i have looked into this but the thought of going through courts scare me. my husband is now being made redundant and my wages wont pay all bills and mortage. so i need to get my back side in gear!!!!! i did try with one loan company a few months ago, they said the account was finished so i'm not entitled to anything back, IS THIS TRUE? THANKS AGAIN.

    Hi there Pammie

You do not have to go to court, you only go to court if you want to do it this way but if you use the template on this site, they are all free and with the help from everyone, you will get through this.
And if the finance company do not put it right, you should be able to use the Financial ombudsman service (FOS) who are free if eligible to go this direction.

Start by looking through this link here:
    http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/ppi-loan-insurance

Its a guideline to PPI reclaiming.
Use the templates, but write in your own reasons.

They have 8 weeks in full to respond.

If they send you a letter and not resolved your case, write back to them again in order for them to reconsider.
In the final response they should give you details of the FOS if your not satisfied with the outcome.

Don't be downhearted if you receive a let down response, mostly these are just bog standard.
You need to keep on at them and your only fighting for you money you were mis sold with, as they put you out of pocket, so do not worry.;)

Let us know the outcome of this and we shall help you every step of the way through this.

Post all letters to these companies by recorded delivery.

    Good luck.;)

  • Dear all,

i took out a mortgage with Nationwide in 2002. The broker sold me morgae insurance and cover with countrywide assured. i do fell in hindsight that this was a big rip off as i am covered with my job. I have got the details back from countrywide assured the other day. I had been paying them for two years. Is it worth pursuing a claim against CA? Has anybody else had similar experiences with this lot?

    Hi there

I believe this is just like any other PPI policy, and due to your reason of being covered anyway, try to reclaim on this, more info here, use the guidelines and the templates to help you and write your own reasons.

Good luck with this and ask for help when required through this.;)

hi pinknico, thats the point holding me back against claiming aswell,
was i mis sold???? each time i took out a loan, the person i spoke to asked if i had any other insurance to cover any payments which maybe missed if i am ill or lose my job,i replyed no,so i was asked how could i pay it back, when i replyed i'm not sure, i was told about prolems i could be i.e debt collecters, losing credit scoring and going to court.... so i got worried and took iteach time.
    WAS I MIS SOLD?
