Hello Di
Are you ok.
I felt today that I had done quite a bit with my letter sending, just waiting now for the replys.
Not too bad thanks hun, still painting - happylol.
So you've been busy getting on with all your claims then?
Good for you, hope you get those recordings with you soon, it makes you think why they don't send them though doesn't it?
Especially if you know and remember they were recorded.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Hi dreamer
How are you?
Glad you heard from them, how long ago was it you emailed them, I know they can take a good while before they get back.
So you have to send them the company a letter now then?
Tell them you want something by 14 days from your letter.:Dlol
I'm today.
I thought I would be waiting for ever because they also have a backlog of complaints going back to june 08 I have only waited a couple of weeks.:T
Maybe mine was not that complex.:wave:0 -
Hello Di, any news from Lloyds?DS1 12/10/04

Hi there just wondering if the letter im about to send to LLOYDS regarding PPI claim is all in order as im still quite abit unsure weather i can claim or not ?
I have my Loan Protection Policy Documents here with me and have looked through them can't really make head nor tail of them to be honest!!
Looks as if the loan protection was gievn to me as credit of 1,292.37 quid on top of the loan amount of 4,880.49 which gave me a total loan of 6,792.37 which was taken out in 2003.
Here's what i've put on the template letter. is this correct way to claim? or should i be doing something else?
I purchased the above policy from you in 10/10/03 but now believe that I was mis-sold this policy for the following reason.
This is due to the fact that I was not given the correct information when the policy was sold to me, as your salesperson implied that taking out the policy would assist my credit application. Also as i was a serving member of the Royal Air Force when i took out the loan, which ment that i would be covered for sickness and redundencie so would not require PPI. the sales person was aware of this has they asked me about what benifts i recieved in the RAF, but still insisted that i take out PPI as would help with my loan application.
Unless you can satisfactorily justify to me that the policy was fair and reasonable I am requesting a full refund of all premiums, and subsequent interest on these payments, that I have paid to date. As I believe I have been deprived of this money I also expect 8% statutory interest, the amount a court would award, to be added to each payment made.
I look forward to a full and prompt response to this letter and for the matter to be concluded within eight weeks or I shall be contacting the Financial Ombudsman to investigate my complaint.
Yours faithfully,
Any help on this would be much apperciated.
Cheers Deano

Hello, its good you have won through, but help by anyone please as I have followed the advice and sent both PPI template letters as per instructions, but just received letter from Lloyds TSB Insurance rejecting my claim. They have attached 5 pages supposedly being the Personal Financial Interview Record. However as I took this refinanced loan in November 2004 at my next birthday I would have been 64 yet they have down 68, (correct at today's date) which implies this cannot be a copy from 2004. On page 2 its shows "no" to question "Due to receive Full Basic State Pension" which was untrue, I was receiving State Pension from September 2001 paid direct into Lloyds TSB also 2 small private pensions. This interview form also was unsigned.
As this refinance loan was due to attending the local Lloyds bank for Customer Services to run through my accounts to see if they could be of help, their staff member offered me the loan to reduce existing monthly payment. It was seemingly only a formality and the loan application form seems just a copy of the original loan taken out in early 2001. I cannot prove that I was asked about retirement or advised about the loan insurance benefits.
I have received the leaflet about FOS but think perhaps I should reply to Lloys TSB Insurance first with my observations to help clarify the changes in my circumstances from 2001 to 2004.
Is it worth pursuing.
Hi there
I would request a SAR (subject access request) for this where they should send you all the information they have on you (account(s), going back generally 6 years or more if lucky.
Mine with lloyds I received paperwork from even 2001..
I would definately still try pursing.
With this also being posted by others already, just go back on page one of this thread for the template for the SAR, good luck.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
