after 3 months the clydesdale bank have still not given us an answer on our ppi claim and actually advised us to contact ombudsman which we did and they have advised us to give them another 8 weeks to sort it out,is this normal procedure???:mad:there only one jeremy vine!!!:T:T:T0

Hi there, yes its normally 8 weeks they have and if they not resolved this in your favour or even responded at all, you are entitled to ask the FOS to investigate.
Here are more details of the FOS below, you can contact them direct for a complaints form or download one on their site.

Hi, I recently successfully claimed back PPI from Alliance and Leicester,took about six weeks in total with no problems...well except one little one:rolleyes:, cheque came in post on Wednesday for full amount,£654, but then another came through the next day,same amount,different cheque number.Question is, what happens if I cash in both('cos obviously I want to

Are you saying they may have accidentally sent 2 by mistake?
Did you know what you was owed in total?
Request for a breakdown and maybe hold back putting them in the account, just in case.
You don't want any come-backs sort of thing.

Well,they have sent ONE by mistake,I was due £654 in total but I now have TWO £654's:beer: 'one is in the bank and the other wants to go to the bank:A0
