PPI Reclaiming Discussion part 4

Hi Stubbsy
Please be very careful dealing over the phone. They will probably record the conversation so be very careful what you say. I would deal in writing that way you have copies of everything that is said. I would download the letter on this site Page 1 there is a SAR. Send it with 10.00 Recorded Delivery. Give them 8 weeks to reply
Good Luck:mad:0 -
Marshy if you or anyone else are really interested in taking this further, especially the FP lot, I have amassed a huge amount of research and arguments to pursue firstplus. As such I have access to some great resources and in the process of discussing with some independant firms who are willing to take on cases, on a no win no fee basis, and also a 100% payout if you win.. so no fees.
Obvioulsy cant get everyone help, but I will try the best I can.

Do you mean they are only reducing the amount down to 12.00 per charge. Or how are they working it out:mad:0 -

Yes a complaint to the FOS and a copy to Capital One. You will get all these charges back.

No they have offered me £64 and i have worked it out at £487 and that is without any £12 charges added on, and they are saying that there default sums are both fair and legal, and they are dissappointed i am considering court action. It also says they wont be increasing this amount and its there final offer, and included a settlement form so we can put this behind us and save the courts valuable time xxxSarah

Hi,
I'm just wondering if anyone can advise me. I put in a claim to Alliance and Leicester to reclaim PPI eleven weeks ago. I had a response after 8 weeks to say they were still investigating and I could go to FOS if I wished. I sent them the 14 day letter but now, nearly three weeks later, I still haven't heard anything.
I wondering what my next move should be. I put in the claim before discovering this wonderful forum and so didn't do a SAR beforehand. Should I make a SAR now so that I have all the evidence to submit a strong case to the FOS?0
