  • Hi Di!

Thanks for the quick answer.. have been through the site, but can't seem to be able to trace an SAR template letter... Would you be so kind, please, to point me in the right direction through the right link?
Just another quick question... How would you approach the question of PPI in that enquiry letter without being too obvious?
I have just checked the barclaycard address and its a PO Box address, therefore I am unable to send anything recorded... Woould you know of any other address for them?

Thanks a million for all your help!

  • Hello all,

I dont know if any one can answer me this but,

I had a letter through from alliance & leicester back at the beginning of march saying they may have mis sold me PPI and to contact them which i did as i have a loan with them of £12000 which they insisted I also took with the PPI.
I called them and they sent me a form which i filled in and sent back. they replied back with a refund offer of £302.21 for previous ppi payment and that my monthly repayment would go down without the ppi included. They are now hastling for me to accept this offer and to sign a new agreement.

Is this a good offer or are they trying to hide something?

Also I have been contacted by a company called Corobo saying I may have been mis sold my loan and they may be able to help me claim more money back. i have not heard of this company and have contacted the ministry of justice to see if they are registered with them but have not heard back. just wondered if anyone has heard about them.

    Many thanks neil

    Hi there

A&L do seem to be doing this to all their customers, then by just offering a goodwill.
Depending on how much the full whack of PPI you paid with interest, as it may be a huge difference, then I would go all the way.
They have already said it was possibly mis sold to you, so its only fair to be refunded in full and not just an offer of goodwill.

Neil, its up to you, but I would go for the whole lot, I bet there is a lot more involved, try to find out more on your PPI if you can, by requesting a written breakdown, ask them to post this, you have nothing to lose really, because if they did not do this your way, I'm sure the FOS would.

    Good luck.;)

Oops forgot to add, I have not heard of that company, but if you want help with anything, just ask on here, its all free and easy, with templates the lot. x

    See your momthly statements
    Hi All!
Just a quick question regarding PPI on a Barclaycard.. I have had my Barclaycard for more than 6 years, but have no idea if PPi is added or not? See your monthly statement--there will bw a detailed line on EVERY statement--a variable amount depending on your outstanding balance

Is there a quick and simple way to check if this is the case or not?
Any help would be greatly appreciated..Thanks a lot:j
Ps: Still waiting for the FOS to give me an answer on multiple loans with PPI... Can't wait for their answer!

The loan is over 5 years and started in june 2007. They have said in the letter that there offer consists of £278.96 as a refund, representing the payments made in respect of PPI from 9 June 2007 to 9 march 2009. it also includes interest of £23.25.
