PPI Reclaiming Discussion part 4

I've just been successful with a couple of credit card ppi claims.
The first one was from MBNA and extended back to 2000. they gave me the breakdown as being £1039.24 premiums refund + £855.41 interest associated with premiums + £1175.17 8% interest. Total of £3069.82 which i accepted and was paid a cheque for this amount a few weeks ago.
The second credit card account is with the Co-op (who took over my Northern Rock credit card). They have offered me £1811.48 premiums refund + £1599.88 credit card interest accrued up to 02/03/12 plus £162.86 8% interest on any notional credit balances. Total £3574.22.
Can someone tell me if the 8% on the Co-op card looks right given that the other interest has been calculated to 2 March 2012 and why have I got differing amounts of 8% interest on the two offers?
I don't want to appear to be ungrateful for getting these refunds (far from it, I'm delighted) but I just want to make sure that I'm getting the correct amounts back.

Thanks for the reply Amersall, I would of quoted your response in this message but was having trouble working out how to do that...
Just have a few questions about the letter I now need to send -
Do I have to fill in both the complaint form and the PPI consumer questionairre?
Who do I send these too - im presuming its FOS not WFS?
The PPI letter asks for the Policy Number of the PPI but I can't see that anwhere on the paperwork recieved from WFS - will that be a problem?
Am I right in thinking that because I was in a secure job with 3 months full sick pay this means I didn't need the PPI?
Also I'm a bit confused why front loading the PPI would class as a reason for mis-sell - this may sound like a stupid question but I havn't got a clue!
Thanks again for your help on this0 -
Thank you for the reply Cappo.
I am going to call them and i will keep you all updated.

The interest on the ppi monthly payment is in the payment amount, the ppi is put on the loan at the front and they times this plus interest over the term of the loan and that is the monthly payment, they have given you this back.
How much was the ppi total and is the loan settled or still running?.
This will depend on the redress you get.
With regards to the claim on the ppi.do not see how this works,as they have cancelled the ppi when you won mis sell, unless they meant claim on the insurance and they will adjust the redress for the mis sell to take this into account?.
Ring Pinnacle and ask,you never know you may get some more back.
Cheers for the reply - are you saying that the interest on the PPI is already included as this is a loan, whereas it wouldn't be if it was a credit card?
When I was on the phone to IF, I did ask if accepting their offer would mean any claim against Pinnacle would become void, they said no, as is it's a seperate issue. I can see where they're coming from - I just want to be certain.0 -

My husband and I had a joint loan with LTSB where we have our joint bank account. (Husband is first named in both) I have a credit card which is in my sole name and it is in arrears. Can the bank use the offset right to take any refunded ppi which is payable from the loan and apply it against my personal credit card? Not sure as surely the PPI funds belong to my husband too?
Many thanks in advance:A0 -

Hi when you say arrears do you mean the balance on your card or your behind on your payments?0
