However, she does not have any loan account numbers. Halifax have written saying back due to lack of infomation they can not do any more. Please could some one help and tell me what is her next steps are. thanks in advance, Paul

I've had a letter from Central Capital acknowledging receipt of my complaint, and asking for more information. One of the things it asks is when did I become aware I had cause for complaint.

My ex enquired a while ago (just after they'd starting putting the hold on claims, and before that was overturned) and was told we'd missed the deadline to complain. It's only recently that I've found out that wasn't true. I'm not sure what to put for that bit?

Beamers right the media exposure caused by the banks themselves by there pointless judicial review that exposed the level of ppi miselling that is when you realised, april 2011.
  • Thanks for help with this SAR business.

  • I have decided to look at reclaiming PPion loans and CC's that I have had, although I only have the details for two loans, one with Egg and one with Woolwich/Barclays.

The loan from Barclays I managed to claim on for illness and redundancy, however, does that mean I can't reclaim the fees paid as it amounts to quite a lot of money.

I am not sure where to start to be honest.
    Thanks
Proud to be dealing with my debts ;)

Hi it depends what you drew out of the ppi on your claim, whatever you claimed will be taken off your claim if you win, as to where to start it's easy really put in a ppi reclaiming ppi questionnaire which is issued by the fos and can be easily downloaded (see link) find the relevant addresses to put your claims in if you feel up to it send an accompanying letter although this is not necessary and away you go it's all fairly self explanatory, good luck if you need more help just come back to us.

Can i ask how you work it out please.
i had a ppi loan from hsbc that paid me £2500, granted that was a £5000 loan but not taken out until 2001.
Thought I might at least get £800 with the 8% as it was from 1995 -is it not 8% year on year.
Thank you for taking the time to reply
    Lisa

Hi lisajaynec, I am probably making assumptions without all the facts. You will get paid back all PPI paid which is the £208.57 + 8% standard interest. To work out the 8% interest you have to use a spreadsheet and it diminishes each month as the loan is paid off.
You say the loan was taken in 1995, when was it paid off? If you can tell me what your monthly repayment figure was and over how many months I could work it out exactly but the 8% figure will be very low. It's not just a case of adding 8% each year, it doesn't work like that, regards dilus ;)
    Successes
    Sainsbury's/BOS £6,400 Paid :)
    MBNA £3,600 Paid :)

Pressure grows on more RBS bosses to reject their bonuses after Stephen Hester waives £1m award

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2093630/David-Cameron-refuses-micromanage-bonuses-RBS-bosses.html

WHY ARE CAMERON AND OSBORNE SO WORRIED ABOUT THE BOARD OF RBS "WALKING" ?

LET THEM WALK, GO AND GET A JOB ELSEWHERE. Who would employ Hester? When he took over RBS, shares were 65p, now shares are 27p ???
HESTER HAS FAILED so why should he stay as CEO

If you do a SAR,this may throw up some statements, there is a chance that they wont be for the years you need.

Fill the form in and enclose £10,give them 40 days to respond.

Banks will only go back 6 years for cc ppi if you have no proof of ppi paid before this,if accept the offer they have given you then put it in writing that if you find further info regarding the previous years ppi, then you would like this claim to be looked at also.

    Once again THANKS VERY MUCH
