I have made a PPI claim from Lloyds and had to go thru FOS to get it. Last week they agreed to settle the claim..

PPI was £63.84 and its been running since Jan 2004.

Today they have paid £1058.01 into my account.

Could this be the full settlement because we were expecting far more?

I think this maybe the interest payment +8% +£200 compensation they said they would pay.

Has anyone claimed from Lloyds and had it paid in 2 payments.. ie 1 for interest and 1 for the premiums?

Does everyone get all the premiums back or does it depend on the wording of the settlement cos to be honest it may as well be written in chinese..

    So many questions, sorry

    Hiya hun

And well done to you. :T

was this for a loan or credit card ppi hun, just to remind us?

I would ask them to send you a breakdown of how they done this through the post, I had to as well, in fact still waiting, but this can vary to what I know of.
As soon as you have received the breakdown which you are entitled to, please post them up and I'm sure Turbo will be happy to take a look for you, if anything is amiss they should really have to make that amount up.;)

    Hope this helps hun.

Right-this loan is now paid up--give me the PPI Monthly payment & number of payments and start date

You get back(Mthly PPI x no of pymnts) + 8% on each pymnt from when it was made --I'll calculate the 8% for you or you can use the Bank Charges Calculator on Martins main site page on link below

    http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/bank-charges#step2

Hi was this note for me?!! (Hope so!)

The only info I have is on the original letter:

    Principle loan - £15,600
    Loan Payment Protection - £1467.65
    Total amount - £17067.65
    Interest rate 7.9%

I have been paying £300 per month recently - I took a one month payment break yonks ago - before that it was £296 per month. The first payment was taken in May 2003. Oops sorry meant to say it was a 72 month loan.

    Hope that helps.

Good luck hun, infact I emailed Lloyds Internet Banking if you want those details as well, but the thing is you just generally get a response to let you know someone will be in contact the next 10 working days, but at least by ringing them its a far quicker method.;)

Did you have anything remaining on the loan to pay, have they knocked anything off the outstanding balance ?
