Thanks for everybodys help and advice particularly Di3004, just though id keep you updated. Sent my initial reclaim letter to Lloyds/Halifax and Capital One on 09March, to date have had replies from Lloyds and Halifax saying they are looking into it but havent heard anything from Capital.
Not sure if it went to the correct address, I sent it to
CAPITAL ONE BANK PLC.
PO BOX 5281
NOTTINGHAM
NG2 3HX
Should I wait until the 40 days is up before sending next letter? If it has gone to the wrong address should i resent original letter again and would anyone know what the correct address is??
Many thanks xx
Hi there am not sure if that is right address. Di is good at looking those up.:j Am sure she will post when she has a minute. Wait the 40 days if you have the right address until you send the second letter.
Well done to you anyway for writing. Let us know how you get on.:D:mad:0 -

Hi Di
Soz did not know if you were about at all. Hope all ok with you. x:mad:0 -
hiya
Im hoping that someone on here can help me. We have just won back my OH PPI from 2004. However he also took out a loan in 2001 with a PPI.
This was with Natwest.
Is there a deadline for how far back you can claim PPI's back as he was mis-sold with for the same reason as the 2004 PPI - that being the medical condition catergory.
Thanks to anyone that can help us
Hi there hun
No its not too late, you go ahead and give it your best shot, if you want any help let us know.
Good luck.;)

Hi Di,
How is all with you? Im good thanks, just a little exhausted with all of this as spending most of my days off trying to work it all out....I feel like my boyfriends PA!!:rotfl:
Finally got copies of his loans etc and his current loan is worse than I thought and has increased the extent of the debt, not sure how he`s gonna even begin to pay, think we are going to have to do DMP or IVA  ......very daunting but its gotta be done if WE are to have any kind of a life or future together. Anyhow thanks for your reply and if ive sent the capital letter to correct place then i`ll wait the 40 days before sending the next letter as it wasnt a SAR to them, maybe they are just one of the awkward ones
Hope all is going well with your reclaims etc...keep me posted and thanks again for your help, your a star xx

Hi hunni

Well I hope all goes your way hun, you deserve it. Well done for the great work.:T Yes in regards of ppi reclaiming, give them the full 8 weeks and if you do not hear anything you are entitled to move this on to the FOS.;)
I have won my credit card ppi back a few weeks back, so has hubby, he has another ongoing, all through the FOS, but getting there.:D, thanks hun, and please keep us posted hun, its so good to hear from you.:A

I have made a PPI claim from Lloyds and had to go thru FOS to get it. Last week they agreed to settle the claim..
PPI was £63.84 and its been running since Jan 2004.
Today they have paid £1058.01 into my account.
Could this be the full settlement because we were expecting far more?
I think this maybe the interest payment +8% +£200 compensation they said they would pay.
Has anyone claimed from Lloyds and had it paid in 2 payments.. ie 1 for interest and 1 for the premiums?
Does everyone get all the premiums back or does it depend on the wording of the settlement cos to be honest it may as well be written in chinese..
So many questions, sorry0
