Thanks amersall. One more question, how do you tell if the PPI on the loan was front loaded?.
It is an amount of money with interest on, that you pay back over the loan term,Some are stand alone ppi that you pay for each month alongside the loan.

If you have been watching the news, you will have seen that LLOYDS TSB are attacking their own EX -- CEO -- ERIC DANIELS

    THIS IS ERIC DANIELS
    Eric-Daniels-002.jpg

LLOYDS are trying to reclaim the bonus he received. The news has suggested, it is because they are having to pay out so much money regarding fraudulent PPI's ????

The Lloyds pack of wolves eat each other ???

You must make up your own mind if Lloyds TSB/ Halifax are a viable company to keep money in ?

You must also ask yourself why the CEO Antonio Osorio goes on sick leave due to stress ??

OSORIO KNEW WHAT WAS GOING ON

In view of all of this, DO NOT PUT UP WITH ANY RUBBISH that LLOYDS staff dish out ..... no harm in telling the rude Llloyds staff, they probably will not have a job soon

GET YOUR STOLEN MONEY BACK FROM LLOYDS TSB/ HALIFAX / BLACKHORSE / ST ANDREWS

A Lloyds TSB spokeswoman says: "The delay affecting these customers is due to the nature of their case which is more complicated than the majority.

WHAT A LOT OF RUBBISH LTSB ... ADMIT YOU CANNOT AFFORD IT ?

Lloyds said at the time many may not get their cash for approximately 56 days after an offer – double the intended wait – due to the huge backlog of claims.
PULL THE OTHER ONE LLOYDS, IT HAS XMAS BELLS ATTACHED ?

    SUCH A STUPID BANK

I agree beamer it's nothing to do with the fact of the case being complicated or loans need restructuring after the ppi's taken off, this is what they are telling everyone, i haven't got a loan with them and there still keeping me hanging on, they only have until tuesday to pay me then they will be talking to my solicitor then we'll see.
  • Hi all, I have just had my claim upheld by MBNA and have been awarded the following:

    Total PPI premiums charged £332.55
Total interest associated with PPI £476.85
    Total 8% interest £464.11

My card was 20.3%apr and I had PPI on it from 1998-2001.

Does the associated interest/compound look on the low side as £5 paid in 1998 would mean they have to return £50.26 today?

Any help to know if the figures need recalculating would be much appreciated, as I won't bank the cheque until I get the correct amount.

    Thanks in advance :A
    Mortgage Feb 2015 £178,500 END 2043!!

    MFW 2015 £100 /£1000

Watch this space, my MF end date will tumble!!

    Good morning All.

I have a mixture of news but thought I'd spend a few minutes reporting back....

    Success

MBNA CC - Upheld, £3600 due 20 December.
Blackhorse (Loan) - Upheld, £1650 offer accepted by letter yesterday
Santander (Abbey Mortgage) Upheld, £109 offer accepted last week.

    Other news....

    GE Money.
A time barred response on a FNB loan. Have requested a FLA form as they suggest that I complain to them.

Getting a runaround on a complaint for an igroup loan. I have request a copy file.

    Halifax.
I bank with these blighters. I felt reassured when they gave me complaint reference numbers back on 3 October. Called them two weeks ago, and reminded me a couple of times about their rights to take 12 weeks.... one numpty even counted through to the final date of the response window... He can count...... Yesterday I got three FOS forms, relative to 3 separate complaints (Mortgage/Loan/CC).

    Barclaycard.
Got a 4 page letter from a relationship manager, basically saying that I confirmed acceptance of PPI the postal application of a 2000 issued Morgan Stanley credit card, a copy was enclosed). It would appear that I ticked it, but does that really count? Surely further correspondence would have been necessary??

    Blackhorse.
They are playing 'hard to get' on a complaint relating to a Purple loans account. Over the phone they suggest that I pursue Midland & General Ltd, who owned Purple at the time.

    .......

Plenty going on. I may have another day off soon to catch up with one or two of the slackers.

I feel as though they can take as long as they need to pay up.

Can I offer a special thank you to Beamerguy. Great advice, spot on!!!

    Regards

    DP
  • Hi all,

I have sent my letter with my £1 cheque to Nationwide asking for a copy of my agreement which I have received. Above the top of the agreement it says Optional Isurance (dont remember this being on my original agreement but seems I cannot find it Im stuck - right??) It might be me being stupid but what should I put in my next letter when I want to ask for a refund, I remember when I called them about the loan I felt a little pressured to hae the insurance - just in case. People at the time told me to cancel it but at the back of my mind I kept thinking just in case. Can anyone help me with a template letter to send asking for a refund on my PPI on the loan please - many thanks all

Thank you so much for your kind comments, it really makes all this worth while.
The one thing everyone must remember is that WE ARE RIGHT, we have had money stolen from us in a fraudulent manner .... THEY, THE BANKS ARE WRONG and you know what, RIGHT WILL ALWAYS WIN OVER WRONG

In answer to your other comments above, regardless or not if they say you ticked the box, use this check list, if you can answer NO to one or more, you have got these banks over a barrel.

*Did YOUR BANK explain the full cost of the PPI when you took out the loan?
*Did you specifically ask YOUR BANK for PPI?
*Did YOUR BANK make clear that PPI was optional?
*Did YOUR BANK ask you about your medical history?
*Did YOUR BANK ask you about any existing payment cover?
*Did you know that YOUR BANK added a PPI policy to your loan?
*Do you think YOUR BANK treated you fairly?
*Did YOUR BANK ask if you have any existing medical conditions?
*Did YOUR BANK ask if you were entitled to sick pay from your employer?

Right now, I am persuing St Andrews insurance who are owned by Lloyds TSB. They are the underwiters of PPI's mainly sold through MNBA.

St Andrews have a range of policies for PPI, all them designed never to pay out and so the Lloyds TSB group knowingly committed fraud.

Hi, you are not stuck, do remember that all these banks are suffering at the moment due to the amount of money they are paying back, Nationwide included.

You will no doubt be able to answer NO to one or more from this check list. Your job is let their comments go over your head and persue them with vigour and DO NOT stop the pressure until that cheque pops through the door. THEY COMMITTED FRAUD and they will pay for it
