Help needed, I have been to my bank today regarding a loan I have with them and the ppi, I wanted to see if I could cancel the PPI to reduce the payments, the lady I spoke to stated that I would have to cancel the loan and then reapply which may make the payments increase??? I have found the documents I was given in the beginning and cannot see anything re cancellation!!
This is what happens when you cancel the ppi after the cooling off period.
Are you putting a claim in for mis sell?,if you are it will be better to get the outcome of this,as if you win,the whole ppi is taken off the loan and the monthly payment reduces by the ppi monthly amount.ppi you paid to date will be returned to you.

Hi everyone, I am currently claiming back PPI on a Barclaycard debt which I am paying through the CCCS but which has been sold on to a DCA. If successfull am I right in thinking that the payment should be sent direct to me as opposed to reducing the debt as Barclaycard have already sold the debt on ? Your help is appreciated.

Hi, Minty, I hope the following will assist and indeed everyone should download a copy of this letter to pass on to others who have been damaged by the banks.

    DOWNLOAD HERE
    http://www.scribd.com/doc/73824439/Letter

    PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY

PLEASE PASS THIS ON TO ANYONE YOU KNOW WHO HAS SUFFERED FRAUD FROM THE BANKS.

Over the last few years we and millions of people put our trust in the banks when we were sold a PPI. We were told that in the event that we could not repay loans or credit cards, we would be covered by the insurance.

THE BANKS LIED AND THIS IS FRAUD under the Fraud Act 2006

The mis-selling of PPI's would have gone un-noticed with very few claims but along came Fred Goodwin of the RBS who through his actions created the banking crises and what followed was a recession, people losing jobs and not being able to loans and credit cards.

All of a sudden millions of people started to claim on their PPI, a product the banks said would safeguard us in the event we could not pay.
Banks then started to refuse claims and then we started to look carefully at the policies, only to find they were not worth the paper they were written. At this moment we realised that we had been scammed and the Banks could never be trusted again.

This then created mass complaints to the FOS and it became so serious that the FSA took the banks to the High Court. The court ruled in favour of the FSA and consumers and ordered the banks to repay the monies they stole from the public.

So, this huge wave of claims, a tsunami, all of a sudden hit the banks. £miilions of pounds were involved in this mass banking fraud.

All of a sudden, the banks admitted that PPI policies were mis-sold but prior to that, they were adamant they were in the right and result was .. BEFORE THEY WERE TOLD

A NAZI STYLE DESTRUCTION OF PEOPLES LIVES
** CONSTANT PHONE CALLS, DAY OR NIGHT,
    ** ARROGANT DEBT COLLECTORS
** DAMAGE OF YOUR CREDIT FILE

This all happened because the banks committed FRAUD. The Fraud Act 2006 CLEARLY DEFINES THIS.

YOU WERE DAMAGED BECAUSE THEY COMMITTED FRAUD.
Therefore not only can you re-claim all monies the banks stole from you, you can also claim for damages due to their actions. This is damages (including harrassment) that the bank caused / created for you.

Be aware that as the banks are now re-paying mis-sold PPI's, they acknowledge they were mis-sold and are clearly in breach of the Fraud Act 2006

If you feel you want to claim damages against your bank, you can download a template here:
    http://www.scribd.com/doc/73821643/Damages
(TELL YOUR FRIENDS TO CLAIM FOR DAMAGES)

Simply complete the claim to personalise to yourself. How much you claim will depend on how badly you have been damaged

BANKS SELLING YOUR DEBT TO DEBT COLLECTORS:
This was happening on a mass scale before the High Court Ruling. Debt collectors were purchasing debts at discounted rates and would chase you for the full amount. They would make phone calls, threaten you with court, threaten to visit your property.
In reality, when they purchased the debt, they purchased the "intellectual rights", meaning they owned the debt instead of the bank.
What debt collectors did not forsee, is that they purchased debts that derived from bank fraud and now, they were liable for the fraud.
You will be entitled to send your claim for damages to them if you wish.

THE BENEFIT OF RAISING A "CLAIM FOR COMPENSATION AND DAMAGES"
Should your bank or debt collector start to theaten you, you then have a counterclaim which will no doubt be far more than they are claiming. On this basis, all threats of court action would cease as they would not want to explain to a court their fraudulent activity

PPI REFUNDS BEING PASSED TO DEBT COLLECTORS THEY SOLD YOUR DEBT TO:
Let us be very clear about this one, the PPI you accepted in good faith is strictly a policy in YOUR NAME.
It is not transferable to a third party. NO insurance policy is transferable to another party (person or firm)

Therefore it would be illegal for monies to paid on an insurance product to a third party if that policy was in your name.

The banks have only themselves to blame for this mess and is down to their arrogance, ignorance and greed.
Debt collectors face a very uncertain future as they have been purchasing fraudulent debts

This letter has been designed to assist those damaged by the banks so please download your copy and ensure you pass it on to anyone you know who has been damaged

    email sent to LTSB today

Dear LTSB it has become quite obvious to me that you are running out of money, i have been very patient with you and the chronic lack of customer service i have to date received from you. You have lied to me repeatedly and to this end i give you 7 days to process my redress payment into my account failing this i will have no alternative but to seek the advice of a solicitor to begin to take recovery proceedings to recover the money that you wrongfully took from me in the first place, i will also to this end be speaking to bbc's watchdog and the newspapers about your apparent lack of interest in your customers complaints, i trust i make my position clear.

Hi CAPP, it's only a matter of time with LLoyds TSB now, I would even doubt that Richard Branson would be interested in buying them although he may pick up the debri afterwards at a knock down price
