I think your right mate i have no confirming info but LTSB are taking a long time to payout claims now, saying that they all are but something is wrong i feel that they are being dragged into paying out kicking and screaming now.

Hi CAPP, THEY ARE THE ONES who put £millionxxx aside to repay their fraud, someone at Lloyds, maybe Tim Tookey, financial director is now seeing that the same amount put them in the RED

Sorry guys the post is a bit on the old side

no worries, one paragaph that says

"At the end of 2012 a new body, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), will take over the FSA's responsibilities for protecting consumers and markets’ regulation."

WHY WAIT ONE YEAR and let the banks continue with their FRAUD ?

DO IT NOW, THE CURRENT FSA ARE USELESS

Seriously folks, this government is so behind the times -- its unrea

Hi sim it's to "punish" you for daring to put a complaint in capital one did exactly the same to me upon putting in a claim, barclays closed my account totally, ha i had the last laugh on them both though.

Barclaycard closed my account (of 23 years) a few weeks after complaining, and Lloyds lowered my limit coincidentally after the same. Both cards were managed fine.

Heard today my Barclaycard claim was rejected though, so didn't get them back. Still waiting to hear on Lloyds CC, but got loan ppi back, so not all bad.

    Vindictive sods, frankly.

IT IS AMAZING that these stupid banks are prepared to lose customers and then suffer the bad publicity that follows.

Robert Diamond, the CEO of Barclays stated a "no quibble" refund on PPI's but never said he would close accounts because of that

  • Hey - just wondered if anyone had joy claiming additional compensation on top of their ppi refund - I had to leave work due to an illness made worse by the bank refusing a claim on the ppi this resulted in having to declare bankruptcy - I've requested additional compensation based on loss of earnings and the effect it's had on mental health and credit worthiness etc, 5 years loss of earnings added up to quite a bit and I did deduct benefits received over that time - what's the likelyhood of them actually paying out?

    Hope you're all well :)
Any input I provide is purely my own interpretation and is in no way 100% accurate, I will try to help as best I can in all cases.
