They are stalling this then it seems.
Write to them and tell them you expect to receive this within 14 days deadline of them receiving this letter, and if you do not, you shall have to consider taking this matter further.
It worked for me on one of mine, so lets hope it does for you, good luck.
Also tell them "they did originally state 28 days" so you feel its only fair that they treat you fairly and act on that statement.;)
Good luck

Thanks Di. I shall write the letter tonight. The thing that's annoying me is that I wanted to invest it before the end of the tax year and I think they are stalling so I miss it.0 -

Not a problem and its so frustrating I know........ , I know those days have already passed by and really they should have kept their word and send it by now.
It would not surprise me they have a back log to deal with in these refunds, that is why they are possibly behind.
If you need any more help hun, just let us know, we will make sure you get your money back.;)

Hi
Could somebody help me please?
I have been refunded my PPI from Barclays for a loan I took out in November 2003. I only had the PPI on the loan for a year and then I cancelled it. The amount of the PPI refund was £442.62 plus the interest I had paid on it of £195.60 making a total refund of £638.22. I was very pleased with this but thought what about the 8% interest you are meant to get as well??? So I phoned Barclays back and queried this and they said they would work it out and that would be refunded too - they have today refunded me £13.12 - is this all that 8% interest is on this amount? I am confused!! Can anyone clarify please?
Thanks for your help.0 -

I know I am hopeless too but £13 doesnt seem a lot of interest- I thought (and was hoping
) it would be more than that so if someone can help with the calculation and explain it to me please I would be very grateful.

Just got a letter from the FOS saying that Egg have decided to make an offer on a goodwill basis and repay the PPI from my egg cards plus 8% interest per year simple to cover any interest charges applied during the cover. Do they have to pay the interest from the day they started the PPI until now or just for the period that I actually had the cards? I cancelled the cards around 2003.0
