do you think I should ring FP cos I got direct line to russell Green and ask him to give me the 100% as I am going to FOS if he dont? or should I just go straight to FOS?
    sorry for been a pain!!!:)

    thanks.xxx
hi its a waste of time phoning fp they have made you an offer and you will not get 100% back on your loan from cancelling your ppi, this is how they work, you would be better off going to fos, put it in writing that you dont accept this offer and why you believe you were mis sold they are inundated at the moment with claims against this company they are upholding a high percentage of these and the winners walk away with cash in there pocket and no ppi left to make, as i said before the offer they made you will just be taken off your loan you do not get cashback with this and you still have to pay ppi for the rest of your loan x

  • I received an offer from A&L last month for my mis-sold PPI. I returned the acceptance form and they received it on 11th Feb but I still haven't got the cheque. Does anyone know how long they generally take to payout? I could really do with it soon!!

Hiya hun, yes I just worked that out now and decided to post back, I would give them a ring hun and ask when are you supposed to be receiving this.;)

Any problem let us know, maybe a letter can be arranged to be sent to them otherwise. Fingers crossed.

Do you know when they actually received this through the post?

They confirmed that they received it on 11/02/09. The first time I rang them to ask how long they told me that they had to send it within 28 days and that it was with the finance dept ready to be despatched. Today I have rung them and they have told me it is still with the finance dept and that they don't have any obligation to get it to me within 28 days. I think I will write to them as I am not getting anywhere on the phone.

Has anyone else had problems with them?

They are stalling this then it seems.

Write to them and tell them you expect to receive this within 14 days deadline of them receiving this letter, and if you do not, you shall have to consider taking this matter further.
It worked for me on one of mine, so lets hope it does for you, good luck.

Also tell them "they did originally state 28 days" so you feel its only fair that they treat you fairly and act on that statement.;)

    Good luck
