Hi virtuous, Osorio is getting Lloyds a very bad name, if the CEO ignores customers, what can you expect from his staff ???
We can all vote OSORIO as the worst banking CEO ever.
If you are a Lloyds customer, take heed of all this and look around for another bank, many of us now think that the Lloyds Banking Group is in financial trouble
Hi Beamerguy,
I really do not know what to do any more. Halifax ceo not responding and I am not getting anywhere. I received an acceptance letter early August, in it they also decided that the money should not come to me but to the Official Receiver, I have discharged from Bankruptcy since March 10, 2006, I emailed a copy to Osorio, also a link from directgov that gives more information on this. Since then I have received nothing. I had also asked them to re-calculated my second loan and guess what they are standing their guns that their calculations are right and if I am not happy I should go to FOS. I have never seen such rude people in my entire life.
Can anyone here shade some light on this because I do not know what to do any more.0 -

Hi
I am going to start a claim for PPI i got on my mortgage 4 years ago. Could someone maybe clarify one thing for me - my initial mortgage was with Alliance & Leicester. I am still with them, but it is now Santander, so who do I write to? I presume Santander, but if someone could clarify, that would be rgeat.
Thanks!

Issue a official complaint to the FSA. Send it registered post
Contact your MP and request he investigates

hi it's santander you need to contact0 -
Do you work for Lloyds ?
If you are an employee of the Lloyds Banking Group and feel that your employer is behaving badly towards consumers, the FSA have a site where you can complain and remain anonymous

as beamer says put a complaint in to the fsa but let the ceo know first as it might save you the trouble0 -
Hi there
London Scottish reclaims are being dealt with by the Financial Compensation Scheme (FSCS), so you would have to contact them for a form.
If your account was sold to you from Jan 2005, they would have been regulated by the FSA, so the FSCS are able to deal with your complaint.
If you were sold the account before that, you should contact the Financial ombudsman Service (FOS) who will suggest another avenue, normally with the underwriter/insurer of the policy, as these would have been regulated as being an insurer, hope this helps, good luck and details of FSCS below.

Also check on a thread I posted sometime ago with companies in default being dealt with by the FSCS.

Thanks for your advise, have contacted fscs, they can cover back to 2005 but not prior to that, they say I cannot claim prior to that as London Scottish are in Administration, waiting for paperwork now could be up to 2 weeks, still waiting to hear from Capital One, Vanquis and Advantage finance, not long now till the 40 days are up....0 -
First time posting here...
I successfully claimed PPI back in 2009 after my wife helped me and showed me Martin's website and helped me write letters to get PPI back from previous credit cards. One question: for my Egg credit card, they said I applied for the card online, and they could not be liable for me not reading the literature about PPI, and refused to pay back anything. Could I still claim any amount from that?
Anyway, after those CC claims, I got about £2,700 which was good.
But more recently I remembered I also had loans, with Cahoot, Northern Rock and Egg, and never claimed the PPI back. So I called all of those yesterday. Cahoot having been bought by Santander, they were really difficult, they gave me a PO Box address to which I wrote Martin's letter asking for my T&C and agreement to be sent back to me. Do you have to include a stamped envelope with your address for them to return your contract to you? I did not.
Then I called Northern Rock. She found my policy but said I did not have PPI on it. Can I believe her? Is it possible she is lying?
Finally I called Egg. My records showed I had 2 loans with them, but I did not have any accounts numbers or anything... I was expecting them to send me packing. However, I got to speak to a lovely young man on the phone, who indicated I had in all 5 loans with Egg!!! The last one did not have PPI, but the previous 4 ones had PPI! He went on to read out to me all account numbers, the date the loans were opened and closed, the amount taken out each time! Fabulous. Only thing, those loans were dating back to between July 2002 & July 2004.
He then said to me, in those terms: "Did I hear you mention earlier on you did not agree to PPI in the first place and that you want to make a complain?" - I had never mentioned PPI to him at all! I just wanted my account numbers! He then went on to file a claim for me, and give me a reference number for it! WOW! When I hanged up I had to pinch myself. It could be too old a case but if it works out, 9 years interest must not be bad
Thanks for any answers you can give me.0
