    Hiya Steve and everyone else.

Not been feeling too good today, which is why I am only just posting up again, my throat so sore and still bunged, despite having flu jab the other week, I literally sound like Madge Simpson lol :rotfl::rotfl:,

  • One of the accounts that I thought I had PPI on I manage to find some details on this myself - I still have a savings account with First Direct and on a statement from 5 years ago when I settled the loan early (by taking out another loan I admit) I see "Loan protection refund" (i'm assuming this is the same as PPI).
I think the loan was around £6000 (perhaps more) and the 'refund' I got back then which I presume was because I settled early was £176 - do you think I can proceed and claim all of the payment protection back?
All I have as evidence that I had been paying this is this one statement which also has my account details on.

    Can anyone offer any advice?

    Thanks
  • PS Does anyone have the address for Beneficial Finance/HFC Bank Plc and Burton Storecard/Santander so that I can send my SAR requests?
I can't seem to find anything obvious on the net.
    Thanks

Hi, it all depends on what the PPI allows for. If you HAVE the PPI policy carefully read it and see if it was applicable to you, read the exclusions, would they have affected a claim

The problem I have is that I don't have the PPI policy any more :(
