So many people seem to be planning to leave LLoyds. I hear the CoOp is quite good for straightforward banking. I think the big banks have diversified too much and need to concentrate on their core business and the fact that they are supposedly a SERVICE industry.

    Hi,
both me and OH have accounts with the Co-op. I find them really helpful when you phone or call in (and they are offering £200 if you sign up to a current account at present).
Been with them for 2 years and no problems.

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."

    Glowing reports for the Co-op.

If you are with the RBS/NATWEST or Lloyds TSB, sick of them, think they are crooks, then change.

IF YOU WANT YOUR £200 from the Co-op, you do need to have at least £800 each month going into the account.

Even if you don't, maybe the Co-op is a better alternative.

Have pleasure in telling your bank to F...off just as Halifax, Lloyds TSB have been telling their customers. (BBC Watchdog 20/10/2011)

A sad day for Antonio Osorio the CEO of Lloyds.
HOPEFULLY THEY WILL FIRE HIM SOON

Hi eddie, yes you have a good chance of a reclaim here on these, paperwork isn't a problem as you can sar the bank for the info and as you know we're always here for you with advice and help, here are some links that you might find useful.

    Hi Cappo,

Do you think it is worth me writing a SAR and sending to each of the finiacial instutions I feel I may have had PPI with?
One of them may be a problem as I don't have any record of the account number that existed during the course of my loan.

Hi eddie you can do that but i would just call the banks concerned first, they might give you the info without having to spend a tenner, worth a try.

Hi all, I've had a few ppi claims and am still awaiting for 1 which is with lloyds, however I am now in the process of a debt management programme !!
My question is will I still receive the money from Lloyds even though i'm in a DMP????
Claim with Lloyds started about 9weeks ago
    Emma xx

    Hi Emma

It may take a little while for the dmp to sort out at present, but if the reclaim is already resolved now, they should go by what they told you in the letter.

I take it though, but your post its still ongoing and not resolved yet then?

And the account that your dealing with via DMP is it that actual same account? xx:)

    Hi,

Just wanted to report my success! I posted here back in June asking if people thought it would be worth me claiming the PPI back on a loan for £1500 which I took out in Oct 2001 and the response was a resounding yes! So I did and this week I got a letter in the post telling me I am getting £235 back plus interest at 8%, making a total of £394!

    WooHoo!!!!!

So a big thank you to all for the encouragement, well worth the price of a stamp!!

    Excellent news!:T:j Congratulations!
