PPI Reclaiming Discussion part 4

That is an amazing figure, 40,000 payment schedules and for just ONE BANK ??
Even if everyone got £500 back each that amounts to an incredible £20 million ... HOW CAN THE BANKS SUBSTAIN THIS ???
WORRYING:money:
i think they are not paying out as quick, so they can keep hold of the money to get interest on it for future claims0 -
But who pays the interest ???
It sure ain't the "feryman"
we put our money lets say for example in lloyds bank and lloyds bank pay our interest, well what if lloyds put the money they have put aside in ANOTHER bank or whatever and then they pay the interest, see what im trying to say0 -
They are allowed to offset against what you owe them, however, they have been charging you interest on the loan with the right hand and stealing your money with the left re PPI
Work out how many months they had taken money for the PPI and ask them refund interest for the same time period for the loan, they cannot have it both ways
Hi I also have the same problem have been offered 1227.97 it's saying 981.60 for total cost of ppi then total premiums paid 531.04 and interest 246.37 I am in a dmp so do you think I could still ask for my interest back0 -

They can't! Lloyds have put aside an enormous amount in their accounts for the payments, cant remember how much but many many millions.
Perhaps Mr Osario can tell us the estimated final figure, he must be good for something.0 -

Of course if you don't ask you don't get0 -

Doubt if Osario can tell you anything, he does not speak very often ?
Trouble is, the claims are getting higher and higher as more people get to hear they can get their money back.
Guess what they put aside is nearly running out now, even Lloyds do not have a bottomless pit of money and that is the worry0 -

yep, i did hear the pot is getting empty0 -
All valid points guys as you all say the banks are behaving abysmally and it seems the more people who put a claim in the worse the banks and lenders treat them, as i was saying to the friend i was telling you about on here a few weeks ago the banks seem to be swinging back towards pre judicial review times and leaving everything to the fos to sort out as i think it was our man beamer on here tonight said fraud has been massively committed here and these banks should be now trying to redeem themselves not try to get further into our bad books.0
