I have been chasing Barclays for full details of all my accounts I have had with them over the years. I have sent four letters so far, the £10 cheque has been presented, but they still have not sent me details of too MLoans that I had with them. They have sent other information for more recent accounts twice, but never refer to these two loans. I have even sent them a copy of bank statement showing payments being made to these two loans back 1996 to prove they did exist. Can someone please remind me what are the names, apart from the FOS, that I quote to scare them into sending me what I am entitled too and what I have paid for? Thank you.

Hi CAP, I'm afraid these banks are clutching at straws, I have not received any reply so far from Antonio, the man is very ignorant and should not be the CEO.
Infact a child could do a better job0 -
Hi. Following advice on here yesterday I emailed the CEO of Halifax and hey I had a phone call this morning from a claim handler who has been appointed as a result of the email! Better still she works about 10 miles away and has given me her direct phone number.
I was told yesterday in a phone call that my proof of PPI had not been received even though I had proof and low and behold the claim handler assured me she could see my proof on the screen so hopefully I will get a quick response to my claim and and an offer letter.
Thanks to you all who gave me this advice.0 -
How long have you waited C? This is my hubby's. We are only using the refund to pay things off to near us to being debt free, and it is only a pittance they are refunding him compared to others - but it isnt the point! Hubby rang today when he recieved the letter and the excuse was

Hello everyone i have posted a similar question on the successes and failures thread but had no answers so thought i would try my luck on here. I received a letter from Barclays on the 24th of August upholding my complaint & giving me an estimate of my redress. The letter said that they would arrange for a member of there "Complaints Resolutions Team" to contact me within 40 days & they have also added 8% per annum simple interest to the estimate for 40 working days from the 24th August. This made me think that i would be paid out within the stated time scale???? My calculations are that the 40 days are up today? I did not receive any contact from them so i rang them up nearly 2 week ago & they said i should of received the calculations sheets which i had not0

Hi everyone,
Congrats to everyone who successfully received their payment. I'm currently helping out my mother's to fill in the form.
Just a quick silly question though, if there was multiple loans/credit cards with PPI from the same bank can we fill in one form or for every complaints we fill in a form?
Thank you in advance.0 -
HX is on watchdog tonight......I wonder if they're gonna get ripped to pieces about their appauling PPI timelines:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0

Suggest you do fill in a form for each credit card, as you have probably read on these forums, the staff of these banks are not that clever, infact some of them are downright thick.
ONE FORM PER CLAIM so you know where you are
If it is a Lloyds card, be prepared for a lot of stupidity0
