Hears hoping for some advice from all you clever people:)
I received 2 letters last week with offers over 3 loans totalling 17000. These letters were from the 'Head' of PPI.
Today a further letter arrived, covering all 3 loans, with offers totalling 15000! This one from the 'Director' of PPI.

    Different contact phone nos!

Which one should I ring on Monday ???

    Does this happen often??

    WOW, well done!

I agree with Beamer and think you should mention you already received an offer of the first one.;)

YES, just see if you do get 2 payments, would not be surprised

LOL, that did actually happen to me last year, and I thought WOW they must have owed me more, but it was the same amount of the one i already received, so didnt want to take any chances, they said to tear it and return which we did, but in tunnelhelp's case i doubt they would notice lol, still be careful though is best.:);)

The dictionary says about a cretin

1: a person suffering from cretinism.
    2. a stupid, obtuse, or mentally defective person.

Sounds like the bankers and their staff to me :rotfl::rotfl:
  • Well it does cheer me up reading your advice. Possible two payments from Lloyds, 17000 and 15000 or maybe neither if someone spots them on the dreaded spreadsheet.

As I mentioned, payment direct into my current account so expect the local manager to be straight on the phone suggesting all sorts of things i could do with the money! If duplicate payment received this will be left of course but another bank account already for quick transfer away from Lloyds.:D

I have been a Lloyds customer for over 40 years, not that they will miss me as I am usually into the overdraft.
  • Still awaiting payment of £1646.31 from Lloyds TSB

Interest at 8% (which came to £378.96) was calculated up until 13/10/11

That date has now passed. So I guess that I can expect the interest to rack up on a daily basis from the 14th onwards? If so, then can someone be kind enough to tell me how this is calculated.
    2018 wins: Hong Kong holiday
  • Does anyone have an e mail address for the CEO of Northern Bank please? It would be much appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Evie
