After sending a letter of complaint to HSBC they have sent me a questionnaire and told me i need to fill it in. Do i need to do this as they have all my information surly!!

Hiya

I know for some companies its now their procedure to use the questionnaires, I can understand it being a right pain - as you've already made your complaint in writng to them, but there is no harm in ringing them and asking if the letter is appropriate?

Did you keep the copy of your letter you sent to them?
If the questionniare must be completed, then basically just apply what you wrote on your letter on the questionnaire, good luck on this.;)

Hi

Can anyone help, my husband put in a PPI complaint regarding a finance agreement with Dixons in 2002 -2007.
On documentation it is Halifax Cetelem (part owned by HBOS, but I think they sold their part of business a few years ago)
HFC are also mentioned on documentation and that is why he complained to them and sent all relevant documentation to them, all the paperwork including the credit etc which clearly shows that the box is pre-crossed, he wasn't asked about PPI and didn't want it.

But even although it was sent recorded delivery they have now lost documentation, however to be fair to HFC, they do seem to be trying to get to the bottom of complaint.

The problem is none of the reference numbers he has given them are not showing up on the system. So he has been in touch with Dixons and they responded by saying that finance was upheld by HFC in 2002.
The lady dealing with complaint sent my husband an email yesterday - writing
I have discussed the below with our accounts manager for DSG and he is going to investigate if we did provide finance for Dixons in 2002, as the below e-mail you have received suggests. From our first conversation he has advised that he believes we only financed goods for part of the DSG Group, which was PC World and Currys. He feels we did not finance Dixons. He is going to investigate this on my behalf and come back to me with an answer.
If this indeed is the case, does anyone know were he takes it from here, were do we find out who financed them?
Does anyone know what happened to Halifax Cetelem, I have tried their number but it just goes dead.

Any help would be much appreciated.
Many Thanks

Di,
Do you have Hamilton Insurance phone number, as they have said that they were the underwriters for HFC, thought my hubby could give them a phone and to check if they have any details as agreement only stopped in 2007, so they should still have details (famous last words)
Thanks
• Hi
Its been a while since i first posted in this thread about my claim with citi financial. Its now been going on for 5 years, primarily because they fail to reply to recorded delivery letters! and pressure of work on me.

I am about to send a final "really fed up with this now" letter! but wondered if anyone knows who the chief executive of Citi is and their contact details so i can copy them in. An e mail address would be useful also.

Have tried google but to no avail. Thanks for any assistance anyone can offer in advance.

Hiya

Hope you get this resolved, HFC admitted liability of Endeavour personal finance mis selling on mine in the end, even though mine was not regulated at the time I taken my loan out with them, they as a goodwill gesture upheld my complaint due to being told the wrong details for almost 4 years.

Hamilton are dealt with by Direct Group now and I was always passed on to them on queries, so maybe if you contact these, they will hopefully give you the correct lead.

Fingers crossed x;)

Guys, email ron.teerlink@rbs.co.uk. As a result of my email, I seem to have got some form of feedback. It’s not much but it allows you to vent your spleen at the Group Chief Administrative Officer of RBS

I am fed up with Lioyds now

A few weeks ago i get a letter saying that they are going to give me all my PPI back plus interest on a credit card, i then sent of the acceptance form and then i have a letter back that they need proof that i was paying PPI.
I did send them a statement with proof of PPI at the beginning of my claim.

Whats wrong with these people???

Barclays

sent them the my original loan contract stating how much PPI i was paying , waited twelve weeks for a reply from them and their response was couldnt find an account , but however if you could send us your loan policy we would look at the claim again

Dont you just love it and doesnt it give you faith in these people that are dealing with our money day in day out.

Now i know where the monkeys went to from the PG tips advert they are sorting out all our claims.

You hum it son and i'll play it :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I am now in the process of writing letters to them again :cry::cry::D
