    Hi there

I am not the patient type to be honest :o, so I will send a further one the following day to chase it up, but yet I email the CEO, and copy it to the customer team at the same time, this way I do find in my own experience - they get back quicker.

    Good luck x;)
Hi Do you happen to know the e-mail address of the Bank of Scotland CEO , I am still waiting for my calculations on a successful PPI reclaim, original acceptance sent back on the 25/08/2011.
I have rang them several times and today iIwas told the claim is with the calculations department, they recived my acceptance form on the 05/09/2011, which is rubbish cos my hubby sent his acceptance form back on the same dayI posted it on the 25/08/2011 he has a final figure sent to him on the 15/09/2011
and has been told the money will be in his account any time.
Im a bit frustrated, our original claim forms were sent on 05/05/2011.
I thought that 16 weeks was the waiting time for claims.
Has any one had any dealings with the BOS and what time frame do they use to pay out once they have sent you the final figures:(:(
    Thanks in advance
  • Hi There

Can anyone help - I'm trying to make a claim against my Burton's storecard but cant find the right address through Santander. Does anybody know the right place to send this to ???

Not sure what my chances are but fingers crossed :)

    Cheers , Bobby
  • I have an going claim with LTSB for missold PPI on a personal loan.
Havent heard anything from them except to confirm they were investigating my claim.
I called them last Friday as my 16 weeks are up tomorrow and was told they were still looking at it and someone would get back to me.
Didnt hear anything back so i called them again today to remind them the 16 weeks was up tomorrow and got the same reply-'we are still looking at it and someone will get back to you'.
    Still waiting!!
They have already been given an extra 8 weeks to investigate and still they are dragging their feet.
For those of us still waiting for a response or waiting to be paid its not good enough and we need a voice.
Someone mentioned emailing Watchdog and complaining.
If we all emailed Watchdog at the same time they would have to sit up and take notice and hopefully take LTSB to task as it seems they are completely flouting their obligations to their customers and the FOS.
  • Hi folks,

I had a credit card with Capital One which had the PPI.

When I completed the application form I remember that I didn't want the PPI so I left this part of the application blank.

I just located an old statement which had showed that I was being charged for PPI.

I contacted Capital One & explained the situation & requested for the PPI to be refunded, they replied & confirmed that I didn't request the PPI on the application form in 2002 (which they provided me a copy of) but that I purchased the PPI during a telephone conversation 18 months after I took out the credit card.

Now I can't remember this phone call but I can't imagine myself phoning them to purchase the PPI, any suggestions what I should do?

Should I contact them for a copy of this phone call?

Many Thanks in advance for any help/suggestions.

For those of you who had/have a PPI with MNBA, as you found out later the insurance was underwritten by St Andrews in Southern Ireland
The policy which was not worth the paper it was written on, is fraudulent.
St Andrews appears to be an offshore company own by Lloyds TSB

I have asked the CEO of Lloyds Bank, ANTONIO OSORIO
    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
to explain the connection between Lloyds, St Andrews and MNBA
    http://www.st-andrewsgroup.ie/
St Andrew's Group, Shannon is part of Lloyds Banking Group

I have sent him 2 emails with no response to either ???

Whilst MNBA are repaying fraudulent PPI policies as it is their responsibility, the underwitten insurance by Lloyds via St Andrews is also fraudulent.

When I accepted the PPI as to what I was told by the MNBA salesperson, at no time was I told that the insurance was with St Andrews AKA Lloyds Banking Group and no poilicy was sent to me until I tried to claim, then I received a tatty photocopy which clearly showed the PPI was a worthless piece of junk

This clearly now involves two companies who have acted in a fraudulent manner via one transaction. The Fraud Act 2006 is there to protect people and MNBA, ST ANDREWS AND LLOYDS BANKING GROUP have committed fraud

If you have received monies back covering mi-sold PPI 's, the banks are admitting they were at fault.

As they were at fault and this is covered by The Fraud Act 2006, what damage did they cause for you, were you harrassed by debt collectors ?
Did it create a problem on your credt rating/score ??

If it did, you are entitled to compensation, how much will depend what you want to claim.

If you have been a victim of bad behaviour from the Banks, now is the time to claim damages from them

OH YES if that is the only answer Capital One can give, ask them for a transcript of the conversation, they will not have one so the onus is on them to prove it, Capital One still at playing "bad banks" i see :D:D:D

Thanks for your reply, they mentioned in the letter that as far as they are concerned this would be their final response & that I can contact the Financial Ombudsman.

So should I write/phone Capital One for a copy of the transcript before contacting the Financial Ombudsman?

    Many Thanks

They all come out with this "final response" rubbish. Nothing is final until you are happy.

    Write to them and ask

Capital One just love passing the buck to the FOS, THEY ARE A BACK STREET BANK
