    Hi all

Been following the forum for few weeks while I wait for my responses. I originally sent PPI complaint questionares to Barclaycard and Blackhorse in March and have received letters stating it will all be looked at by End August.

I now have two more letters from Barclaycard saying they will update me of their progress by 27 September. Does this mean this will not be counted as being sent before they put all the claims on hold before the decision in April.

Has anyone else who claimed prior to the April had a letter stating they will now be in touch in September

I suppose I will have to wait til next week to see if Black Horse also move the goal posts too.

I have also received several letters form Welcome saying they will need 8 weeks and a letter since saying they have not yet completed the investigation and have not given any dates this time. Has anyone else any experience of Welcome where they stated that PPI was compulsary and loans wouldnt be accepted without it.

Hi nic i think i'd be getting in touch with them stating that they told you you'd have a decision by the end of august not september, you could tell them you will contact the fsa and report it as a breach of the extension that the banks received, but be careful it's a tricky one if there are issues that suggest that they might take longer, if pushed they might just reject your claim, and however long it's going to take them it'll still be quicker than the fos.

Hi, Does anyone know what kind of backlog lloyds tsb have in regarding to sending out payments, I have a payment of £430 (dances) which was meant to be paid by the 18th of august, But having just phoned them, They say they have a backlog and can't give a specific time as to when cheques will be sent out, The lady i spoke to said they can take up to 4 weeks, Which the 4 weeks has now passed, So any ideas on what to do,Or do i just wait more days/weeks possibly months for this to arrive?

Hi there, hang on for a while longer, but in the meantime, you could contact Lloyds and tell them the wait is unacceptable and you will take this further if they do not stick to what they agreed to.

I agree with lorraine (amersall) the banks are taking a long time to get payments out,if no joy upon talking to customer services an email to the ceo might get them moving.

Just a note guys it must be very frustrating for you and i also to have to wait for payments coming out from the banks but they will come and the extra interest we'll all get for the banks dithering is going to be very handy, stay strong and focussed it's nearly over (steve). cappo
