Got another letter from Lloyds this morning - they are going to have another look at my claim and give me a final response.
The letter also says that Wholesale Banking Recoveries has told them I am bankrupt and my redress will be sent to them. But I am NOT bankrupt, I was discharged 6 years ago. Plus the loans I had were paid in full and never went into default. Great - now what do I do ?? I tried contacting the OR before making this claim, and they weren't interested because it was so long ago.0 -

Hi there
I would make them aware of this immediately, either by ringing them or emailing the CEO and copying the email and also send it to the customer care team at the same time. Good luck.

I remember they made a mistake with one of mine, it was a a settled loan from 2004 and they assumed it was still active, so I let them know and they rectified it.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Have you got a copy of the discharge letter. If so fax it. They will have to pay you then. Also thw WBR will have to try and reconcilliate the monies against an oustanding default(which woulkd have been sold off by now anyway) and oops they havent got one.
Idiots:mad:

Hi I have been following all your great advice for some time and am delighted at all the success stories.
I would like to know if anyone knows how the RBS is progressing with claims? I put in my claim in July 2010 and it was put on hold awaiting the JR and I have had the standard 31st August deadline letters. I haven't read too many RBS loan claims on here recently so I am wondering if they are just going to send out letters en masse in time for the deadline. I have tried to call them but both numbers are just ringing out.
Many Thanks.0 -
Hi there, you should not be too long now from a final response, hang on in there x.0

Thanks, i just can't believe it has taken so long to deal with this. I had such a fight with them on the phone when they put it on hold. Having worked in financial services before I am suspecting they will take stock of how many claims they still have to deal with before the deadline and if they think they wont be able to clear them they will just uphold them. Fingers crossed xx0

I should'nt say this as i'm sure amersall will tell me off lol, my personal spin on this is i think the banks have now started winding down with decisions and are now going to start mass upholds to avoid angering the fsa, there not going to get done now and this applies to all banks across the board, i don't think they'll get anymore extensions, only my opinion though.0 -
