Give them a ring, this is what I did and they just told me over the phone. You could also send them a letter asking for a copy of CCA with the terms and conditions, there is a link to this letter on this site, you will also need to include a fee of £1. This will show if the box for PPI is ticked or not. If they say they don’t have the records on they system you could try sending them a subject access request (SAR) this will cost you £10 but it means they have to send you everything they hold on you. Again there is a link to a great letter on this site (I cant post links but I’m sure one of the more experienced posters will be able to do this for you!) If you have any statements you should be able to see any PPI payments on these.
You are not to late to claim some people are claiming back from the 90's but you must be able to justify your reasons for miss selling. Once you are satisfied you had PPI on your loan/ credit cards all you need is the account numbers and your reasons for having the PPI missold then you can fill in the questionnaire and send it in.
    Hope that this helps

Hi there, they are not pulling a fast one, they cannot ask you to pay the loan back,i take it this still running?.

They can chase you for the debt but not through court, also your credit file will have a default registered.

Do you not have the account number for this loan? as this is all you need to claim a mis sell.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the reply.

Yes I'm still paying the loan at the moment but I'm in a debt management plan so my account is currently in default anyway. I have my account number but by not having the credit agreement could this effect the amount I could receive ?

Also, does anyone know if this is a common tactic from Natwest when they may have to pay out a lot of money. I believe they could owe in the region of £8500 ?

You are doing a fab job Cappo, keep up the great work.:T
Have you thought about asking your MP to write on your behalf?

The family are fine Cappo, thank you for asking and hope all is going well for you and your family too xxx:A:A

i don't know how i'd get on with the mp Di i kind of blew his man off on the phone and would'nt let him put his sign up in our garden this year lol. Maybe not too clever eh, i'll see if they eventually do the sar i know they've got the acc numbers the MP might get brought in, in the end. there only mucking about because they know there going to have to pay out on the credit cards,i think we're talking about a good bit of money so i won't be walking away from that one. they've got until the 21st i'll be contacting the ico and fsa then as well.

to be honest pj the banks will do anything to avoid paying out, things unfortunately havent changed since the fsa won the j.r, keep pressing ahead you'll get there in the end.

    Afternoon all,

Rang RBS on THursday to ask why money had still not been transferred and got a rather flippant "you'll have to wait"........ Red Rag time, lost the plot and unloaded. Gentleman put me on hold for ten minutes and then said it would be in by Tuesday. Two minutes later got an e-mail from RBS apologising for delay and it would be sorted ASAP. Money in account by 15:00 that day.

Have to say didn't swear but was very close.

    One down one to go...

    Keep going everyone.....

    nice one dirk well done:beer::j:money::D:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T
