    Hi,

how long did it take from your "upheld" letter to giving you the amount and calculations settlement letter?

    Thanks!

It should have 28 working days but having harassed them for last two weeks it was more like 34 working days. They are claiming they are around 2 weeks behind - Said that is not my problem and that you have had since April to pull your finger out.

    Hiya

Sorry if this was missed earlier.

I would make a reclaim if you think you have been mis sold for any reason, give it a go, there is no harm in doing so, also check for more details below as well which may also apply to you.

Well done on the BH reclaim.

I take it then you know the procedures on how to make a reclaim due to winning the above.;)

    Good luck.

So the last time I posted about my progress was last year. Well indeed like many of us HSBC customers we have been waiting with baited breath to see what happened after the judicial review. Last month I received a generic letter informing me that I would receive a decision on all my PPI complaints by the end of August.

Today I received another letter from HSBC- to be honest I was expecting bad news. BUT it is good news. They said they were unable to respond to specific issues raised but on this occaision were prepared to uphold my complaint on miss-selling PPI and I'll receive a settlement proposal within the next four weeks! And that is for four personal loans...shame they could not have admitted they did wrong in the first place!

I hope this will also include the adjustment to my current personal loan- of which I am still paying PPI on each month!

    :j

Well done pedro always nice to hear of an uphold but 4.:T they should be worth having

    Hi Cappo,
The 31st of August is when complaints put in before the Judicial Review was finalised have to be given a final decision.
For those complaints put in from the JR date until the 31st August have 16 weeks to give a final decision.
For those that put in a complaint on or after 1st September until 31st December will have 12 weeks to receive their final decision.
On or after 1st January 2012 they will all go back to 8 weeks for the final decision.

Hope this helps, hope you're well.:D

    good smitchy are you.hope you've had a good weekend.:):):):):):):):):)

    I need some advice please!

I took out a loan with MoneyBackBank.co.uk in September 2005.

I don't have any of the paperwork to hand though, and the company (which is a subsidiary of Santander) no longer exists.

I sent a subject access request along with a £10 cheque to Santander asking for the details of the agreement.

I have just received it all back saying they don't keep files over 6 years old (it hasn't been 6 years yet).

I believe it was a 2 year loan, so it would still have been active in 2007, surely details of the agreement would still be on their systems?

Am I screwed because I don't have the original paperwork?

    HELP! :(

Hi rodd there being shifty, you don't need the agreement but you do need the account numbers i would get back to them and threaten them with the fsa, i don't think these banks are or have any intention of playing the game i would contact the bank and threaten to report them to the fsa (sorry if this post been answered only just got back on here)

Hi yah Di.how's it all going, everything pretty much stalled at the moment been told by hsbc will be end of august but i think i'm ok there as 5 of the claims are for front loaded loans and 2 credit cards, LTSB i'm still having a real song and dance with despite them telling me there going to put my credit card numbers in the post 3 weeks ago (they havent) i'm now waiting for the sar again now, i don't think they want to play, i'll get them in the end,it's just taking some doing, the ceo doesn't want to know now (if he's even getting the emails now) how are the family?:)

If you still have the loan account number and your reasons for mis-sell you can still claim against them, obviously the more details you have the better, but this is the least you should need.

As for not meeting the terms of the SAR, I think you should be able to contact the ICO - Information Commissioners Office, for more details, but they should be complying with the request and sending you everything they hold on you from their records, although, was it a SAR you put in or was it asking for a copy of the credit agreement, if it was the latter, if the loan has been completed they are not required to keep it after the loan is finished, but they should still hold the basic details, loan amount, ppi amount if any, interest rates for both etc etc.

Some of the other more experienced members may give more words of advice, good luck and keep us posted.

you seem to be doing alright on your own mate:)
