    Hi Mich

Yes unfortunately they have been given extra time (certain banks have), but sit tight on this now, hope you still hear some good news before the 16 weeks, fingers crossed.

How long has you're complaint been with Lloyds?

They got the original paperwork from me back in February this year, I had the standard your on hold letter from them in April and have had nothing in writing since then.

I've made calls to them on a monthly basis and nothing significant seems to be progressing.

The 16 weeks extra time - when does that 16 weeks supposed to start from because so far it's been 6 months, which is a lot more than 16 weeks.

Thanks IANC have already had claims upheld from cap one and mbna as i have my bank account with hsbc would it be better to write or ring them up?? thanks

I'd ring them in the first instance.

If they have any requirements they will let you know.

HSBC wanted a questionnaire from me, whereas HBOS acted on just a phone call and no paperwork.

I assumed the 16 weeks would be the cases from April if I recall on this correctly, mine went in towards the end of 2010 and it was resolved over a month ago, I would keep emailing them as well, good luck.

So email the CEO and copy the email to the Customer Care team.

    Hi All...

And apologies for what must be a naive question...I asked Barclay for my T & Cs...they sent 2 letters, one telling me the balance, and another showing a standard agreement...Nothing was sent showing the date the agreement was set up, or my signature.

The cards are still active...(although I have since recalled a loan and a card which was paid off and cancelled, so have sent a SAR)...am I right in thinking, though, that I hould have been sent a copy of my signed agreement?

    Thanks to all...( yet again)....

    Morning x. :D

If the CC's are still active then for £1 fee they should send you your t&c's and also statements and your signed agreement that being said that all depends how long ago this was taken out ;)

If you can call into your local branch, they will be able to dig a little deeper and from my own experience have been helpful after a push in the right direction :D

If these methods fail to be fruitful lol then a SAR will be the next step like you have mentioned ;)

But remember to make a claim you only really need a few details
    • Loan account number/ numbers OR CC account number/ numbers
    • Start date
    • Closing date
    • Reason/ Reasons for being mis-sold

hope this helps a little ;):D

    Lisa
Thanks guys I have had my first success today a week after posting my 8 claims !:money:
I have received one rejection so far from Santander-Wallis card which I have posted on to FLA
one letter to say that I need to put in a claim with the two seller for my endownments, so have resubmitted one to Yorkshire Bank, other financial advisor has fallen off the face of the earth and because it was 1990 im not covered by onbudsman!
Another letter yesrerday from HSBC to say they have 16 weeks to deal with my claim and its now logged
But this morning received a letter from Santander who have agreed to repay my premium £425.16, interest £155.29 loss of cash payment £40.70:j
Thanks so much everyone for your support, i will keep you posted on my progress and anyone that thinks its too much trouble, think again 3 hours it took me and £10 in registered post but already over £600 better off.
